So.... what's HID's special sauce???Yesterday.........

I'm interested in the idea of fermented vegetables affecting BG. Do you eat the sauerkraut on its own? And do you have it hot or cold?? Does it work with all fermented veg? Do some work better than others?Yesterday (Day off work)
B- Chicken stripes and celery sticks
L- Sauerkraut 500g (The power of fermented vegetables on my blood sugar still amazes me)
D - Roast beef with all the trimmings , swapping the roast potatoes for roast celeriac
S - Nothing I was so stuffed from the roast :-0 Only had some pickled onions!

Interesting! I'll have to try this. I've got some big jars of sauerkraut and other pickled veg that my husband enjoys so I will experiment. Thanks for the information. Oh! Just remembered that years ago I used to love pickled cucumbers, do you know if they work in the same way?
So would I, but she won't tell me.
All I know is that it has Frank's Red Hot as a base.....
We used to make a mean Rueben in our Restaurant in the States.
The Saurkraut went onto the Flat Top Grill along with the Beef
When I eat Saurkraut at home now, I usually chuck it in a frying pan with a knob of butter.
