Step into Spring

Done a little bit of zumba today, 30 minutes this afternoon. Back into the work routine tomorrow when back to work after 2 weeks off and a 30 minute walk there and back.
I never could understand the moves for zumba.
The walk to and from work is a good way to add exercise to daily routine.

Sure is and not too sure about the zumba at the minute. Only just started and also do it at home from you tube videos so we will see how I get on, but the walking is my main form, zumba a fill in when I'm not out and about xx

Yesterday I walked more than 2hours around department stores. Almost ran when I got caught in a heavy rain shower. Thought better of it though.

Today has been more leisurely. A browse along a quaint shopping street. Window shopping, and having coffee and catch up with a lovely friend, then a short stroll through the park enjoying the spring sunshine.

Monday was a busy day for me too, I walked to my nearest Lidl in the morning then in the afternoon I had to pay some bills and do some shopping for my mum so I had to go into town too! Total steps 10,120 :D

Still not able to return to the swimming pool, I have, once again, headed for a shopping centre (or two). Not my favoured hobby, shopping, but level floors protected from weather had its attractions. Walked for around 90 mins and exceeded my steps total by 1800+. So not bad day's work, especially as I picked up some bargains for myself.

Just back from my course in Edinburgh.
Monday ... Had to park nearly a mile from the train station and drag my case back . Then pulled it from station to hotel , then a wander around Edinburgh.

Tuesday was 40 minutes in the hotel gym before the course .

Wednesday was 2 walks around Edinburgh

Today was just a quick walk

Cleaned windows. Then cleaned them again as they were streaky.
That took over an hour. Then sat in the garden admiring my work.

Hi All

Been a really wild week with moving offices after 30 years and all that entails. Had a big Sun to Wednesday with 3 x 30 minute walks each day plus 15 minutes a day of strength exercises but the old knee decided to remind me that I was overdoing it so have had to ease up yesterday and today to give it a break. I will see how it is in the morning and look at an easy walk or 2 tomorrow. Weather is also cooling off which is probably not helping the knee much.
Cheers

It is cold here today, too. Sunny here but some rain elsewhere.
Still not up to swimming pool, so have had a short walk, and pottered in garden.
Activity tracker is constantly on red this last week. As soon as I can I will give it a work out.

It was quite nice in Scotland yesterday but got cooler later .
I walked through our lovely woods for an hour

Have been walking to the local shops and back in the mornings which is when I have enough Acetylcholine available and after doubling my dose of Pyridostigmine on waking hope to slowly build up some stamina still have to stop a few times on the way.

When I think about the guy in my avatar and how he would think nothing of walking sixty miles to perform at a function I wonder why I didn't inherit some of that stamina.

@JohnEGreen , you must have inherited some of that stamina with your determination not to give up evident. Well done!

Out early this morning. Short walk. Frosty. Made me wheeze. Waiting for the sun to warm us up then going to try again. Meanwhile pottering about dusting and vacuuming the stairs.
