well done Johnny!Good Morning, my lovely friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Forum,
I am posting to inform you all that at 7:38 am this morning, Monday 23rd May, 2016, after administering all my oral medication as prescribed, my Laxido Orange soluble laxative sachets and my 10 mcg of Lixisenatide glucagon-like peptide medication (injection), my blood glucose level was 5.8 Millimoles Per Litre. I've had a cup of coffee with coffeemate and three sweeteners and 4-5 hand-rolled cigarettes made from recycled tobacco. I don't feel hungry at all, and don't even feel like Marmite on Toast or any poached egg toasted sandwiches.
Yours faithfully,

I did,, thank you Ian.
You are so supportive of everyone on the forums and have such a lovely, positive attitude. It doesn't go unnoticed... Mrs Cumbs is a lucky girl - and you can tell her I said so!
I'm having a bit of a cloudy period right now, Penfold, and didn't feel comfortable with it. I liked this avatar though because it has a positive vibe and the sun will break through sooner or later. Thanks for asking though xWhat happened earlier to you lovely picture @debrasue ....?
So I've been getting more 4s recently which I've never had. This is good I think? I was worried 4.5 was too low but maybe it is fine. I'm now using My Sugr and analysing everything![]()
Wow! That's a nice thing to read on a bad day! Thank you Ian.Aww bless you @debrasue (is it Debra or Sue?)
Mrs Cumbs is a treasure️
I also note your posts on the many threads we cross tracks on that you have an easy going helpful way about you and you are a lovely natured woman
I have told Mrs Cumbs what you said she thinks I'm crackers lol![]()
5 to drive? I didn't know that.......It can all depend on how high your sugars were if they were uncontrolled
I can feel hot shaky sometimes between 4.0 and 4.5 but my sugars were coming down from silly numbers
At the DAFNE course I went to they said that 3.5 is a definite hypo and to treat immediately but they also acknowledged that 3.6 to 4.2 could be hypo territory for some but not others
The other important thing I learned on the course and that they mentioned repeatedly that you have to be 5 to drive, if you are stopped by the police and they suspect you are driving dangerously or have an accident they can check their systems and using DVLA they can ask you to do a blood sugar test and if you are under 5 they will take action
DAFNE guidelines are if you hypo whilst driving pull in somewhere safe turn off the engine sit in the passenger seat and treat your hypo re test and get sugars 5+ and you must wait for 45 minutes re test to check if over 5 then you can drive
God I have rattled on a bit soz
