Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

9.3 from stress. My neighbour should be locked up. If he weren't an old man, we would have insisted upon it. Silly old fool. Hoping my panic attack is well and truely gone. Having insulin with early breakfast to claw back some normality. Fingers crossed.

Hope your day gets better and calmer <3

7.0! Eeek! Not had one of those in the morning since the very early days. Delayed reaction to eating out on Saturday perhaps? Heading off on usual walk and will see what that does. Very nervous as back at Drs this morning to talk about the anxiety.

Good luck at Drs, talk is good and although you are nervous now, you will hopefully feel a bit better after the appt

I hope your day improves, deep breathing and mindfulness may help with panic attacks.
Luckily my normal breathing for me has resumed. A panic attack closes my windpipe then I panic more because I cannot breathe. Scary stuff, isn't it?
I've had insulin with a piece of dry protein bread and will take metformin now. I'm determined to get a perfect bg day today. New insulin has given me more confidence.

I've noticed a lot of readings posted at 4 & 5am when I'm fast asleep

When I worked in the meat industry I was up early to go to work at 6:00 am, when I went to the mines to work at doing shift work my sleep patterns were all over the place.

Now I still get out of bed early I like getting up the same times as the sun rises, although it;s a bit later at the moment now we are coming to the winter solstice in June.

That's my reason, now to keep on topic I hope tomorrows bg reading is <6.0.

I have no idea as I left one testing kit at my friends house and she's now away for a couple of days. 2nd kit has run out of strips, New order due home today or Tuesday.

Morning all, 6.00 last night at bedtime, best ever result! 8 this morning!! Wanted also to ask a question! Do you get up deliberately early to do your bg?? I've noticed a lot of readings posted at 4 & 5am when I'm fast asleep
Only when I'm having a hypo or one of kids are ill. Others are on their way to work, I think.
Ps. I've had my levothyroxine reduced since doing less carbs. High thyroxine levels keep you awake and can cause palpatations.
