Can't help with that I'm afraid. :)
I think they bung me up for a while then I adjust. That is, if I haven't been eating eggs and then eat some it does seem to bung me up, but when I am eating eggs regularly every day there doesn't seem to be the same effect.

I find it hard to tell, sometimes. I'm working on the theory that it takes 2 days for foods to pass through; that is because things that "assist" don't seem to on Day 1 but on Day 2........
excellent post. I agree with the two days as well

I wonder if How their cooked matters. Normally I was eating them hard boiled or cooked in an omelet and now soft boiled with bacon or lox. Could be the soft yolk?

I have soft yolks. I love my soft runny boiled eggs and runny fried or poached.

Intresting you mention the soft yolk.
Friend was over for brunch on Sunday.
When I asked him how he wanted his eggs he said that he had to have them hard yolks because soft gave him digestive issues. It was a fairly new development.

I eat best part of four dozen eggs a fortnight, mainly in omelettes for breakfast.

Soft boiled eggs are on the barred list here at home, they have the guts boiled out for ten minutes to make sure there is no raw egg still left uncooked. Same goes for fried eggs they are cooked so the yolk is hard as well.

I am not a regular sort of person, I seem to go every other day or so. I do not class that as constipated as I seem to seem to make up for it.

Somethings changed and the addition of a daily egg is the only thing I can think off

Where do you get your eggs?

Egg bound use to be an expression used for constipation even though it's something that happens to chickens. I suppose a more runny egg might not have any bacteria killed off properly, Edwina Curry was always going on about salmonella in eggs, but after a 60% slump in egg sales and millions of chickens being slaughtered, it led to her resignation. A Whitehall report published in 2001 proved that she had, in fact, been largely right. The study found that Britain was facing a "salmonella epidemic of considerable proportions" in late 1988 – and that the Government had down-played the risks.

I suppose it's possible, maybe, perhaps.

Otherwise, my poached eggs slightly on the runny side, haven't caused any grief for me.

Very interesting hard vs soft boiled yolks. New teat coming on. They don’t effect my bg at all but wondering about the bathroom issues. The soft boiled vs completely cooked is all that changed

Egg bound isn't constipation, it is when a hen has an egg stuck inside so she can't lay and can't poo either. I doubt eating eggs will make any of us egg bound! I can't remember where I read it now, but apparently if our eggs in the UK have been stamped with the red lion, they are salmonella free. Or at least the laying hens have been vaccinated against salmonella. https://www.egginfo.co.uk/eggs-safety/salmonella

Please, please enlighten me on what Nut Creep is - my mind is boggling o_O
Same as carabiner creep. Eating more than realized or intended.

I made butter roasted pecans yesterday and ate a lot more nuts than I normally do. Then hit the nut butter later. Nuts have come in and gone out of my diet for many reasons many times

egg bound and being very bunged up feels i guess the same,
12eggs there must be some side effect wind i would guess.

re soft its nowsafeto eatbritish eggs runny again theall clearwasgiven amonth or so back. Most eggs sold in the UK are stamped with a red British Lion Quality mark and are considered safe to eat in pregnancysoft-boiled or raw. The risk of British Lion eggs containing salmonella, a bacteria that causes food poisoning, is very low. http://www.madeformums.com/pregnancy/are-runny-raw-or-soft-boiled-eggs-safe-in-pregnancy/29479.html

The official all clear for pregnant women and babies was given in 2016. The all clear for others was given about the year 2000 on eggs stamped with the British red lion. It is not the case for imported eggs, which are generally used by catering establishments and in pre-packed sandwiches etc..
See post 31 ;)
