What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Well if you are in Denmark and wee on the lawnmower, it was bound to break. :)
Well spotted Mick. In response to the keeping wine, I have some laid down for my 66th and 70th birthdays and beyond. At one stage I had cask and bottle numbered single malts (with certificate of authentication) and Claret from the Chateau but my son had an epic party and disposed of them. He told me he didn't think much of them:banghead:

Something is very rotten in the state of Denmark this morning, 6.1, very heavy thighs and eyes. Broke a lawnmower yesterday during 100 mins cutting grass, weeds and general undergrowth. Then walked dogs in woods so I am putting it all down to hay fever/tree pollen. Anyone else have raised numbers from this?
"There is nothing either good or bad @ianpspurs spurs but thinking makes it so", apologies to the Bard. I would suggest it's just one of those nasty morning mysteries the madam likes to throw at us. Feel your pain and as everyone knows, my madam has raised herself quite frequently but not because I'd broken a lawn mower, no lawn, nor walking the dogs, haven't got any. So it must be the pollen but it's too early for Stalin's revenge aka Heracleum Sosnowskyi.

Good morning People

Today Lady Vampira tasted my blood and did find it to be 6.2.

Strange this life with diabetes, 5's one week, 6's the next, and no change in diet or exercise:banghead:
My madam BG has been giving me the run around for the last couple of weeks, total mystery or the machine is on the blink.

What a wonderful morning this morning is.

Another day to try any lower my slightly elevated reading of 9.8 this morning.

Late dinner and sweet ( I would rite pudding but we has posh people's reeding this ). Then munching nuts while watching a late night film ( wifout subtitles ).

I'm not going to promise to be good today. Been confined to barracks this morning, then orf the leash and collar this afternoon and evening until 10:30. Hehehehe.

Enjoy yourselves folks.

I am with you on the single malts, I am Talisker man myself, as well as usual distillers edition and 12 year olds I drink once or twice a week, I have a fine 25 year old (2005- a gift), and a 12 year old (1959, a gift by my grandfather on my birth to be opened on my 60th)

There was a thread on this topic about 4 years ago. Someone suggested camomile tea helps. My grandson asks for this when he runs the house so we have some for me to try.
I am with you on the single malts,
Mick, if you like your single malts and haven't been yet, try visiting Wadsworths in St Ives. You will be in paradise!

You are excused boots alf. As you were. Surely that should be a kitchen supper, Alfred?

6.1 again - lowered carbs yesterday and fasting bg the same as usual, realising it seems to not be very related to what I eat at all. Have a good day everyone!
@eggs11 this seems to be the common message today. Quite a lot of people haven't done anything differently or they have and it should have resulted in lower numbers. Shake your head if you can't fathom it.

Good morning all. Blood sugars were 5.6 upon getting up and 5.3 half an hour later.

@dogslife -- It's great that you've finally had the appointment to get your injection. Hope you feel better soon and the backpain will be gone.
@Gabrielle_Tai -- Welcome back to thread. We've been missing you.
Thank you ziggy. Your wishes are much appreciated.:)

Perhaps stay indoors and have a good rest today ianspurs? Hope you feel better soon. Your fbs levels are still in range and good enough to make even Hamlet smile. :)
