Looking online at Asda to see if they had anything new..I thought wow it is catching on and this is something that I could try as would make a change on a Saturday night not to cook. Until I looked at the Ingredients and carbs.

The main ingredients is the cauliflower base, which will have some of the carbs, but you would expect to see a small effect from that I think.....

Next up is the faba bean flower....no idea if that carby or not......

I would say its worth a shot to see what happens.....

The box clearly states that it has 21 g carbs
But closer inspection shows that this is 21g carbs per portion, if a portion is only half a pizza.

Obviously, compared with normal carby pizza (esp deep pan) that carb level is rather low, but I still think the box is a bit misleading.

Pizza express gluten free (cook at home) pizza only has 50g a whole pizza, I'm not sure what witchcraft they use though.

You could always replace the breadcrumbs with some blitzed pork scratchings..

I also noticed that there was brown sugar in there. Most of the ingredients I would not use so it would be very low carb home made. I guess homemade is still best at the moment.

As a pedant I was also deeply concerned about this but I think the problem is that they have used carbs which is plural. Less carbohydrate would be ok, fewer grams of carbohydrate would be ok. 60% fewer carbohydrates seems to me to mean that it is the number of types of carbohydrate they have reduced. If they don't have room for for carbohydrate then 60% less carb. would be the correct. I'll get my coat!

Wow I would totally eat that! Carbs are really good (half a pizza is the same as a single slice of commercial pizza eg dominos!), plenty of protein, calories are decent considering how much food you get for it, not too keen on the sat fat but hey it isn't terrible. I'll try and find one of these in the stores!
