What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.0 I’m ashamed to report, but I know why....
Woke at 5 with a raging hangover after sitting into the night with several bottles and an old friend I havent seen for ages.
I found a sachet of Resolve in the medicine cupboard and hed it before stopping to think it is full of sugar!
This is 2 hr post reading ( didnt test at 5am when I first got up) so to be honest I thought it would be worse - was steeling myself for double figures.

@DJC3 Have a cyber hug for your delicate predicament:angelic: As a matter of interest and research do you wear a fitness tracker with HR measurement and has it altered since before becoming one of Bacchus' Pards?

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all other finger prickers if the the former descriptors don't cover you, except politicians.

A gentle 6.2 for me this morning, which is spot on for a little run out on my motorbike to a grotty greasy spoon that does great fryups and lousy koffy.

Well folks today is a day of rest, I think here that means complete the " rest " of the tasks tasks on the chore list that Mrs J has, therefore I have to get out on the bike before Mrs J arises form her pit / lair. Have a good one.

@alf_Josiah Thank goodness you are alive and fully limbed after using your gardening equipage yesterday. You had me so worried that I awoke at 4.25:angelic:
For anyone who read my earlier post about rises in resting pulse and weight, google and fitbit community have solved the problem. Alcohol raises resting pulse in many people and olives, cheese and most other things I have eaten lately are salty and water retention, after several fasts, has impacted weight. Let's hope tomorrows papers read Panama Kaned:woot::woot:

6.7 at 9:00 did eat a lot of liqerice the sugary kind last Night and had a bailey, it is a kind of party evening the 23 of June here in Denmark where we usually burn a hag on top of a big fire of branches ... we stayed at home and had some sinful sweet treats though... the saintHans evening ought having a makeover I think to burning a devil figure instead of a hag , I used to dress both my daughter and myself as a hag when she was younger to show some solidarity with all the hags killed in the late Middle ages

Morning all.... 5.9 for me this morning... Really loving the fact that here at least it is truly a SUN _DAY, at least its shining and feels like its going to heat up...Enjoy it if you possibly can

Morning all 5.1 @ 4.50 on a Sunday morning. My body seems to want to take me on a magical mystery tour of places i don't want to visit. The scales have gone back 6 months in 4 days, average sleep hours around 2 hrs lower than trend and bg and resting pulse well up. Clearly sending me a message and I thought I was being nice to it. Has done this before but I don't appreciate its sense of humour "to take it again perforce! monster ingratitude" Hope you all have good days - I fear mine may seem rather long!
As a Spurs fan myself I find I generally sleep better in the summer :-)

Thanks for the hug, I’m beginning to feel a bit more human.
No I don’t wear a fitbit type of thing, probably just as well.

I didn't test this morning as I was too excited by my reaching 9 stone ...so I was trying on clothes I'd hidden for years!
My BMI today is now 22.1 which is incredible and very pleasing.
I think I needed a lift to my spirits and this is perfect :)
Enjoy all this lovely sunshine everyone

@Mal37 It is great news about your weight and BMI - as you say a lift at just the right time.
