Hi folks,
So glad there's so much expertise out here, I've only guessed on this forum for a while, but joined today.
Hope you don't think it's selfish to ask a question on my first post, but does anyone know of a nut free alternative instead of almond (or other nut based) flours?
Diagnosed T2 about 6 months ago, I think I've eaten myself into diabetes, but am struggling to lose weight by portion control alone. Am loving the look of LCHF and I think I could do it quite easily as the list of LC foods looks a bit like a part of my favorite food list (with the bread, rice and spuds removed) but...
Am also allergic to nuts so all those recipes using almond flour etc are a no no for me.
Anyone know of anything else I can use?
Thanks!
Dave
