Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.7 today. Haven’t posted for a week. Husband had been airlifted from St Kilda whilst kayaking with a group of other kayakers. Had sepsis and possible MI. Was at the Western Hospital in Stornoway in HDU. Was allowed home yesterday on a wheelbarrow load of medications and further tests to follow.
Best wishes to you and your husband. Must have been very stressful so the 5.7 is amazing

Another day, another new tub of strips...

Go back Jim, your going the wrong way.

Got my grandson down just now so giving it a rest this week

Yeah I’ll have to try and get back on track just a bit difficult when
Your out and about going places to keep him from getting bored

Our two grandsons were here last year, put them work around the place. They picked up some bar experience and money before one went to uni earlier this year, and the younger one starts next year hopefully.

They still had a good time though.

Best wishes Janet I hope your husband has a speedy recovery, it must have been a very worrying time for you.

Morning 6.3 today :banghead:

Edited to add that 2 hrs later and after just a coffee with cream it was 5.8, this is the first time I haven't continued to rise so fingers, eyes and toes crossed that things are hopefully going to continue this way.
