Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.2 today :) I strongly suspect my batch of strips used during June and July were more friendly than the batch I opened this week, 4s have disappeared :( My suspicion is backed up by my lab HbA1c this week being 34 while MySugr was predicting 30.7. Never mind!
All still good numbers though and a million miles better than they were a year ago so still worth smiling about :)

Good morning Friday has arrived it’s been a long week!
Happy to see a 5 in my numbers today, only just though 5.9 but still nicer than the 6’s I’ve seen every morning this week.
A lovely beach day with my daughters and grandchildren tomorrow so something to look forward to after this busy busy week

Morning @Rachox I've been the same this week all in the 5's but I have stopped some meds etc. I'm still very happy with that though:happy: As mentioned yours are very good as well.:)

5.4 today not a number to fall in love with but wouldn't embarrass you in front of your mates. @Rachox great lab result. @JanetMcDowell fbg holding up well in period of stress. @Beanzy good work again. @bigjim19 fair trade off having grandson for slightly raised numbers. @ally1 8 again - all looking good.

Still a great result @Rachox.
I was wondering recently if the high temperatures we’ve had may have affected the strips. I wished I hadn’t bought 10 boxes at a time.

mizzly misty Cornish morning
Have you blown into the bag yet - may be clear as a bell:angelic: re strips heat may well affect but humidity certainly does. I remember reading to avoid bathrooms for long term storage.

7.8 for me this morning, looking a bit dreich out there so my morning waddle will be more of a stagger with my need for speed, hehehe I sound like a racing driver as opposed to a ground poking warrior which I see myself as as I wander forth into civilisation once again...by going to the shop for a paper.
