What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Taken at face value meter showing 5.5 just because it can. No biggy on its own just seemingly at odds with yesterday's lowish readings, diet and exercise. Just hoping the message is along the lines of "if you are going to put me through that regularly I need to take action". Still heading to the bike before spending much of this soggy day in the company of 4 generations of women leavened only by my son and grandson. Not expecting good things from fbg in the morning:arghh:
 
Good morning all. 6 again today.
Taking some photos at the national handball finals today. Its quiet the minority sport. Especially so as this is the large court, 60 by 30. Best thing, the court is 200m from my house. So that will keep me busy for the day.

The support of good friends can never be truly evaluated PenguinMum...when I became ill a couple of years ago I would never have managed if it hadn't been for family & some really good friends...good to hear she is coming home...I've no doubt it will be a great relief to all.
 
Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all members of the flat earth society, today in their world it's not " flat day".
A gentle 7.2 blood sugars greeted me along with Mrs J demanding I made her tea.

Well folks today is the day to wash the lawns and mow the cars and paddle your own canoe avoiding white water.
If possible have a good one.

Emma the odd 'diversion' doesn't do any harm...sharing food is such a social event...did similar myself & while my numbers are slightly higher than usual...we had such a good evening it was worth every extra mmol...a 5.7 definitely a win;)
 
@alf_Josiah It's funny that all schools for generations have taught that the earth is flat. When I was at school the maths teacher was adamant that the sum of the internal angles of a triangle is 180 degrees hence the Earth must be flat, as that only holds true on a plane surface.

My BG was 4.8 this morning. leaving me feeing a little flat.

@karen8967 -- Hugs. Hope you are doing okay. Blood sugars of 2.7 are very low.
@PenguinMum -- It's wonderful that your knee is better and that your friend can come home from the hospital. You are a very caring person.

Thanks ziggy im fine now hypo treated ive had breakfast and im back in bed for a bit as ive got grandsons 4th birthday party later
