They are brilliant neighbours & good friends Ian...we have connecting garden gates between our respective houses...they are always open...I am an ex-Londoner...the longer I lived there the more our neighbourhood changed...it was an up & coming area...as old neighbours moved out...money moved in...by the time I sold up I barely new who my 'neighbours' were sadly. On the one hand, what friendly neighbours. On the other hand as I get older I see why I so much liked Robert Frost at school - good fences make good neighbours. You problems aren't with errant livestock just errant chocolate.![]()
Think yourself lucky alf...mine demands at least two large mugs before it will co-operate...then occasionally a thirdGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who will bark at the postman today.
Well today a 5.6 crawled it's way out of the meter, then demanded a koffy, cheeky or what?
Today folks it's a be positive day, with the additional " Say something nice " to somebody you don't like, it'll drive them crazy hehehehe
Must go the postman is due and it's my turn chase him down the drive barking as I go.
Well it would of been rude bubbsieMorning...I have the worse neighbours ever...last night they arrived bearing home made chocolate cake & Prosecco...what could I do?...so two glasses of Prosecco...lots of laughing & a slice of home made chocolate cake covered with Cadburys flake & double decker pieces I managed to regain my control & refuse further offerings...woke to an undeserved relieving 6.2
Exactly what I thought KarenWell it would of been rude bubbsie![]()
@johnpol my madam of a BG has been giving me the run around over the last few days too and wondered the same about a cold. Today, we are at an acceptable 5.8. Hope we both go lower but not too low.Morning all a very surprising 13.2 so I am officially on the unpredictability train!! unless I am starting with a cold, I get one at this time every year, which will explain the high readings. So it's now time to play catch up! On a good note though no hypo last night!!
Take care everyone.
Thanks @DJC3 - already a pooshow from data - one of the unintended consequences of "keeping an eye on things" One trick will be working out something in this WOE that comes close to comfort food. The other will be holding back my urge to punish myself on the exercise machines - need to walk around all day muttering "bigger picture"Hope you have a better day than anticipated.
Lets hope that you are on the way to nice figures , mine have been, shall we say, up and down to be polite!! got it down to 6.7. see what the rest of the day brings@johnpol my madam of a BG has been giving me the run around over the last few days too and wondered the same about a cold.
