What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all, single figures greeted me today again (just) - 9.9.

I still feel terribly sick and shaky every time I get to a 7 - hoping this will stop the more frequent I get this number.

Off to the consultant this morning so I may finally get a proper diagnosis!

Have a lovely day everyone :)
Congratulations on single figures and I hope the consultant finally diagnoses you and organises appropriate treatment

Morning All. 7.1 this morning so I need to take a long hard look at what I am doing.
@SaskiaKC ia that the Agatha Christie film? Love a bit of Miss Marple.
@SB.25 good luck with your appointment hope you get some answers.
Had a crazy half hour yesterday chasing an adult mouse around the sitting room hotly pursued by two cats who thought it was the best game. When I steered all three out the french doors I locked the cat flap so they couldnt get back in. Ah maybe thats why I ate all that cheese later!
@trick60 lovely that you are taking your grandaughter to her interviews...leave lots of time for the Winchester one way system! I lived behind Kingston Uni when I first came to England in 1983 so know that place well. OH did his degree there as did many friends.
Must stop babbling. Have a great Friday everyone, stay well, stay safe.

@SB.25 we've got the same initials and the same BG this morning. I corrected the little madam and got a kick back 90mins later with a plunge to the murky depths 3.7.
Hope everyone gets what they want today.

Average reading 5.4 today. Looking forward to new tee2 meter arriving so I can stop the palaver of testing several times from each fingerprick.
Definitely a better way to go just testing once. Personally, I do wonder if testing is becoming like looking at our smart meter. Numbers on both show up but there is very little I can / am prepared to do to lower them and still have everything I feel I need to function in an acceptable way. That is one of the big things making me very unsure about using a Freestyle Libre - seeing numbers I could realistically do nothing about would be a huge waste of money
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.:arghh:

Well, another short break in London comes to an end. Weather has been excellent. Out all day yesterday and managed 12 miles ogling at stuff on the way. Met an old friend at the Tower of London that I hadn’t seen since 1982, now a Yeoman Warder and just happened to be by the entrance as we wandered in.
6.1 at 0830 this morning. Must have been the lobster soup; I had a bowl of it while Mrs Miggins tucked into an afternoon tea - at 7pm.
Have a great day if you can.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who welcome the new day with a smile.
A little 6.4 this morning .
Well I hope you folks have polished your bins ready for next week's national bin day,
Don't forget to remember today has been officially designated a Friday, I looked Friday up on the relativity calendar and it's defined as a day of hope and anticipation, so folks fill your Friday with joy and smile at a stranger, that should scare them.
Me's and my mates chaos and mayhem are being left unsupervised today hehehehe.
Tip avoid Reading, them pages can be heavy, oh I meant the town hehehehe.
