Morning colanders.
Got my 6 monthly diabetic clinic this morning. Between this and pump clinics feel like I have never been away from hospital these past 2 weeks
Good luck, I hope your appointment goes well.

Woohoo well done MelJust a quickie as I’m at the Ambo station waiting for a call. I literally had a round of applause from my consultant. He said I have perfect glycemic controlHe’s happy to approve my application for my big vehicle driving licence too. And they’ve asked if I’d be willing to go in occasionally to demonstrate how to get the best out of the tech I use. So chuffed.

On Monday I called the clinic’s answering machine (they never answer the phone) to ask why it is 18 months since my last appointment. Apparently a new IT system meant I had dropped off their list.
They then asked if my GP did not see me - I said I have never seen GP for diabetes care, just prescriptions which we fight about and nurse for foot check.
Finally got DSN appt with a new nurse in May.
And some of you are greeted by name!
7.30 is a lie in for me fairygodmotherMorning all, and may the sun shine on you today!
Hope you and the ambulance crew weren’t too blown about yesterday Mel.
Good to hear bloods are being nice again porl.
No lie in today Karen?
Happy coffee shopping, Japes, and happy carb devouring Helen.
Time to take a tent to the hospital smc?
