What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@Debandez your slot was absolutely brilliant. I am sure that many many people who had absolutely no idea that low carb puts diabetes into remission will now start on the journey to better health.

5.3 this morning. Feeling a bit lazy today. Perhaps another coffee will get me going.

Straight 6.0 this morning and a return to normal for my brain cells, albeit that 'normal' is questionable in regards to my natural state :) Taking her ladyships car for its MOT which will, no doubt, be fun. Enjoy the day ;)

Woke to a 5.8 this morning. My back is hurting this morning and I’ve not even got out of bed yet. Once I sit at my beading desk the screams of protest from my back will be heard the world over. Yesterday was a good day finished the second number cube, I can’t start the next bit of the train as I’m waiting on some missing beads. But I started a bracelet which should finish this morning.

Edit: Forgot to say I had a HAb1C done a couple of days ago. My previous one was 17th July at 85, so I know that it’s not the full 12 weeks between but yesterday it was 58 I’m really happy with that decrease. And hopefully given another few weeks I will be out of the 50s.
Sorry to hear your back is hurting. Full of admiration for your skill with the beads and your determination not to be beaten by back issues. Then there is the amazing news of your A1c casually dropped in almost as an afterthought. Quite the modest star turn - brilliant all round performance. Huge congratulations.

Morning...had a great sleep last night and it's not raining (yet)… listening to the news in awe party politics aside hearing one disgruntled Tory describing their opponents as 'rabble' made me smile...considering the mire they find themselves in rich indeed...woke to a 6.1

@SaskiaKC glad to hear the pain has gone and good result with the doc. Hope the new meds are agreeable. @Fndwheelie hugs for the back pain and balloons for the A1c. Great going in a short time, storming it. @ianpspurs hang on in there it will all come good. @dunelm thanks for the photo it does look like a painting. @HarrisonK your post made me think of Parker and Lady Penelope. Glad you are feeling better today.
@trick60 what a score stuff of dreams. Enjoy your cheese on toast. @karen8967 glad you are in a good place, great avator.
Lots of laundry and ironing for No 2 son today but I dont mind because I am feeling very proud of him. He handed in his dissertation for his Masters yesterday to the Uni of Bath marking the end of 7 years of hard work including two years of illness. I am feeling very blessed today.
Have a great day everyone. Stay well, stay safe.

belated morning to everyone I hope you all have brilliant day and nothing worries you. A 4.9 was thrown at me by my meter of doom, I just took it meekly and scuttled out of the room as I feared its reaction. It has been flexing its muscles lately and I don't wish to "poke the bear" so to speak.

have a brilliant day every one and take care.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. May the deity of happiness smile on you all today, other deities available from all good retailers. Several of me were amazed to see their is a danger of creationism being introduced into Welsh schools. I bet the rev Darwin is turning in his grave.

Today a gentle 6.6 wandered out of my wayward and misbehaving meter then vanished before my eyes.

Well folks today is a good day for avoiding the media and getting on with enjoying yourselves. Me and me's have plenty of entertainment laid, on the gas company are starting to dig up my front lawn and will need unqualified micro managing by you know who hehehehe.

Brilliant beading @Fndwheelie
A lot of fiddly work.
Train is beautiful as is the bracelet.

Great news on your son handing in his dissertation and your fbg - way to go celebrating with ironing.

Down to 5.7 after the stress of yesterday!

Lots to catch up on! Every intention of doing it but for today just touching base.

Hope everyone good. Sunny here on the fylde coast. Granddaughter day and library calling for some new books for her.

My special needs BIL now has his own case worker from the disability team so things are coming together for him. They popped in on him whilst we were away. He also has been given a free 3 year bus pass. He loves a bus ride. He is happy and so are we.

Happy Thursday folks.
