I would say it depends on your job and uniform ... and fashion (bum bags are ok today but a couple of years ago you would have been considered a bit of a dork with one).
If your job is based at a single location, you can leave your kit in a bag at your desk/counter/bar and educate your colleagues not to touch it.
If you are walking around all the time, pockets and/or bag (of the bum variety if you can/want) would be the way to go. I am pretty hypo aware so tend to just carry my GlucoTabs in a pocket if I am wandering around. It is considered normal in my job to have a phone so I can scan my Libre when I want.
@Mel dCP is the Queen of Pockets - she may have some advice on what makes good pocket clothing.
Bear in mind, when you have a CGM, you should get an alert when you are going low which would give you time to get to your kit before hypoing. So you need a solution to work until then.
