What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning...after a challenging week I'm feeling reasonably philosophical about life & the universe...comforted by the wonderful support I've had here & from friends & family...one coffee in another brewing even the rain seems to have relented albeit it likely temporary...then I heard the Andrew Marrs interview with Boorish Johnson...he is not a statesman...he is not a politician...he is unskilled & inarticulate...he is not Prime Minister material besides Marrs let him off lightly..I am going in for my second coffee & a little breakfast hoping that will restore my earlier frame of mind...woke to a 6.2

A Wet miserable Sunday here in the capital.
A bit too bad 5.3 for me.:D

My last day at work, so mixed emotions.
Perhaps a leaving drink, if I can push myself to go,
s
I expect a mixed bag tomorrow morning..:wacky:

Have a good un all, if ya can.:)
It is such a huge change in your life and not surprising that you have mixed emotions.

The joys of dozing off in a chair after rising to the sound of rain smashing our lovely garden to pieces is the sun is now
shinning and all is calm. So good morning one and all with a 5.6 at 6 am.

My motorcycle can do 230 miles before it needs fuel - unfortunately I have a 40 minute bladder at the best of times.
So every 40 miles on the open road and of course being a pillar of the community you stick to the national speed limit :D

Wishing you all a dry day.

Could always get a "SheWee"....;)
If I didn't like you jjraak I might resent that ludicrous suggestion...the service stations are fine & there's always an opportunity to consider a little delicacy from one of the buffets...of course the long drive makes it justifiable.

good morning all :)

4.4 today

quite a bright morning today :) we'll go over to mum's later and take her little dog with us to visit ;)
she's getting a bit more used to taking the medication (hopefully), strawberry jam seems to be our friend currently, we've tried hiding it in all sorts of stuff :hilarious:

No long walks for Suzie at the moment though until the vet can assess if/how well the medication is working.

Mum is missing her little friend of course but both of them were getting very stressed out by the attempts to get Suzie to take her medication.

Dinner today is Shepherd's pie made with root veg mash, topped with lashings of cheese, with broccolli, carrot and mangetout on the side (I'll have a small portion of the root veg topping and mostly broccolli with mine ;)). Mocha cake with full fat greek yoghurt for afters :)

Hope your day is treating you kindly :)

Onwards and upwards - another door to somewhere. All the very best

I invariably stick to what keeps me in the correct rev range for the conditions - always being able to stop in the distance that I can see.
