What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Your few days brought to mind a song we often perform, 'Pasttime with good company' composed by King Henry. A time spent with friends and family should always be a wonderful pleasure, glad you enjoyed yours.

I know that song, how lovely that you perform it. Yes you’re right it perfectly fits the occasion

take care out n he roads with the crazy busy schedule and hope you soon get a sofa day.
Have a great Wednesday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.
PM I have no intention of going out today...so the heating is on...the TV is on & hopefully more coffee will be on shortly...I have synced my upgrade iPhone so I feel like Isaac Newton ATM...a little paperwork later...then some invoicing & a snooze.

Morning All. 6.5 this morning so not happy. I need to dial back on quantities. The colder weather makes me eat more I think.
@DJC3 glad you have had a lovely time and great fbg after fish. Dennis will be very excited to have you back. @HarryBeau take care out n he roads with the crazy busy schedule and hope you soon get a sofa day.

Hugs for the fbg again, sometimes there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it though, as we both know. I’m sure you and I are on the opposite ends of a seesaw, when one of us is on an up the other is going down, then we swap. I expect to be going up soon so I’m sure you’ll start coming down. It would be nice if we could both get on a zip wire instead!

Morning good people all. 'Tis the season for base layers and wood burners but unlike @dunelm I have no quiet peasants in my meter just a lacklustre 5.5. I did manage to charm a 3.9 out of the meter after evening meal last night and stay at 4.1 by bedtime. Not feeling any love for the efficacy of diet and exercise on bg control (or weight) but resting pulse and sleeping working. Trouble is focus here is the war on T2. @trick60 stay warm on site; @DJC3 reunion sounds like a fillip for the soul; @Krystyna23040 glad you are back in the grove. Leonard (of Limoges) the Hermit to be remembered today.
Whoops! The peasants are revolting in the land of productive toxt- now edited - I think.

A belated good morning, even though I have been at work since 2:30am
Blimey john those overnights/late night/early morning shifts are hard work not too long before you get off home...Sid & Trixie waiting for you so its all good.

Schrodinger's bin states it can be both Thursday and Wednesday until observed, and as binmen belong in the 'spooky universe' of quantum detachment I do not query their appearance :)

Edit - I mistakenly translated Thursday to Tuesday, timey wimey wibbly wobbly stuff

Our council issues the fancy Carlo Rovelli bins which operate on loop quanta. They appear to be present all the time but a small blurring of perception every now and then has them shift slightly. Strangely, this always seems to be on what we think of as a Wednesday.

No you're both wrong...bin day is Friday!
No wonder I spend my life confused, perhaps @OldButBold is right, I quite like his take on things much better than an ordered universe, organised religion and corrupt politics, it explains many phenomena like mysterious blood glucose levels and bin days, I think I will move into his universe.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. Happy national bin day all, but not politicians.

Well to add contrast to the on going who's got the lowest fasting blood sugar reading competition, I'm at the back with a 7.7 this morning. Anything below 10 is good for me according to the hospital diabetic consultant. Bitter experience has taught me that a 5 and below is very bad news for me.

Well folks my new meter is on trial.
My visit to the doctor's for blood letting etc ended with me and me's being evicted again, but I do have to go back in a couple of weeks for the wrist slapping, I hope they will use whips and handcuffs this time.
Now I must go and continue writing my thesis on pain receptors and how to make the best use of them.

Have a good bin day all.

Not sure what is going on with my liver it's playing fast and loose with my blood sugar lol . 4.4 before bed then 6.1 this morning with a rise when retested an hr later ( no food ) to 6.7 . Then after a lower carb breakfast then usual it jumped up to 9.4 !

According to Bert, the leading bin man and curator of the quantum flux generator, the blurring is due to a displacement in the plastic particles as a result of over-cooking the flange. It's enough to cause a 24-hour shift in bin man morphing.

@HarryBeau have you checked the wheels haven't come loose? That can cause a Friday :)

I've found mine does tend to rise without any breakfast...I also have a few carbs (tiny amount) before I exercise otherwise it goes up then too.
