Oh our heating has been on for a while now, our wandering thermostat sits on the sky box upstairs until morning when I put it on the bedroom windowsill at around 4.30 in the morning so it’s warm for the wife to get up to, then it goes back on the warm sky box so the heating goes off, it does seem a bit c0ck eyed but it works for us.
i laughed when i read, 'meeting up with 4 old friends to let your hair down.....in bettys tea rooms'
could you take some choccie or an aldi choc n nut biscuit, or partake of a small piece of cake as a treat?
Probably, or “The Great Spectac”.So is that known as nopanto season?![]()
So, good news day continues. Android phone and cochlear implant working for @gennepher, nice blue bin for @dogslife, my dear wife became a pensioner yesterday and HMRC told us today they owed us the thick end of £3k - JIT for end of Chemo (last one next Monday) and holiday. O praise the name of the Lord. Psalm 148 seems rather apt.![]()

Its crazy isnt it! You might as well eat something to stop it...thats my mantra plus I do look forward to slice of toast (thick with butter) with my morning tea. Made roasted pepper and tomato soup for lunch and I had two large mugs and it was a bit carby so am currently 0.8 behind where I usually am. So should be good news for you tomo.Forgot to post this morning and I’ve missed tons by the looks of it. Will have to catch up in a bit.
My fbg was 5.9 going up in the world again it seems. That must mean @PenguinMum is going down if past trends are anything to go by. Skipped breakfast and reached the dizzy heights of 7.8 late morning! Won’t eat until I drop below fbg level.
So glad you have good things coming your way...you deserve it after recent times. So, good news day continues. "...Thank you, and here we are for the 515 at Kempton Park, on a chilly but dry evening folks,
with JJRaak just in shot, going down from the parade ring to the track to line up with the others.,
Riding out in Sheik MoKarbs younger brothers Sheik Fu-r-karbs, colours.
It's an upcoming stable, making significant progress, over the last few seasons.
had plenty of good results this year and a good following among those who know, as well.
JJRaak has had an ok season so far, stepped up in class, July just gone, when he won the
Racing Posts amateurs 40 hba1c class 1 race , on his first time out without blinkers
Stablemate, @Saskia, has been booked to ride in this seasons DCUK handicap hurdle ,
running overseas for the first time this year.
Hopefully we'll see more of her later on this season.
Runners are all lined up, and the starters raised his flag...And.. There off....
JJRaak off to a poor start, running with the pack, as they all approach Cereal for the first time..
Oh dear, and a few have fallen there, but JJ took that in his stride, and moves in to middle of the chasing pack,
Progressive, Disease and Amputation leading the way, Prediabetic, Normal, FBg, Brainfog, & DUK, running just ahead of him as they take next.
.and Brainfog fell, Brainfog fell, and JJ just avoided coming down in the melee.
at the halfway marker, its Amputation falling away, as the two front leaders swap places, Disease is now running ahead of progressive, FBG, moves into 3rd, Normal follows ahead of the chasing pack, pre diabetic has fallen away and DUk looks to be struggling keeping up,
...And amputation has pulled up, he was running poorly, and that looked nasty,, he is out of this race as far as we are concerned.
JJRaak is timing his run it seems, trying to take on FBG, oh and they bump on the rails,
but JJ has moved in front of FBg and seems to have the better legs ,
DUK dropping back rapidly, and looks beat from here.
coming to the penultimate fence and its now Progressive & Normal, neck and neck, with Disease and JJRaak, moving swiftly into 4th, the rest a way off the pace now..oh dear, oh dear and DuK, has taken the wrong course..jockeys has now noticed, and DuK is no longer part of this race.
Running on, all the jockeys have their whips out as they race to the last, Progressive pushing on as he takes the last..
OMG, and he's stumbled and progressives jockeys been thrown, the horse is down, Normal and JJRaak, jump wide and miss the trouble but Disease has collided with progressive , and it all over for them two,
Now it's just these two as they go for the wire, JJRaak has the rail, Normals jockey looks over, but he appears to be struggling,
i think Jjraak has the beating of him, and pulling away as they comes the wire..and it's a win for JJRaak, by a Length,, Normal gamely racing on for 2nd, and the rest strung out like a washing line, waiting to finish.
And the totes are in.
JJRaak 6.1..
A nice return for some lucky punters.
Back to the studio.."
Love it.
You seem to have cornered that market in emojis..
