Yes I agree absolutely OBB...well said.We often forget that many that helped the British were not from the Isles. In memory of everyone that served, and to those that gave their lives.

The more the merrier as they say .Not sure I am supposed to post here. I had been aiming to take a day off work to pass through at the tower but sadly it won’t be possible. Thanks for posting the info graph, btw.
The lamb and halloumi chips sound lush .5.1 this morning, better than I expected after quite a heavy protein dinner, but also a lot of fat so maybe that helped ( lamb chops and halloumi chips)
@Muddy Cyclist thank you for posting that link , I didn’t know about the slit in the wall either, that was a lovely touch.
Thanks also @OldButBold for the reminder of others who made sacrifices too.
Very true my children’s grandfather came over here from the Caribbean to fight for Britain. And I wouldn’t have had my beautiful children if he hadn’t have fathered my ex husband . The twist and turns of life ehMorning all, late for me and 6.3 this Remembrance Day.
I'd like the opportunity on this special day to post the following. WWII involved many people from many countries, the Great British Empire was still a 'thing' back then. My father was Tibet/Burmese and fought with the British against the Nazis. He settled in the UK after the war and wouldn't hear a bad word spoken about the British or the Monarchy, he loved the fact that he had served 'his Queen'.

Not too sure what Unwin's law means. Does it mean that there is an infinite amount of variables?Unwin's n=1 law really does seem to apply.
Wheres the retweet button!
Kind of. Basically, there are no real guidelines we are all different as regards how many carbs and what kind of food works for us. We all have our own "hinterland" All you can really say is this is what happens to me when I do/eat this (sometimes)Not too sure what Unwin's law means.
