20.9mmol I’m adjusting my insulin levels to try and compensate for me being ill but I’m not winning atm . I’m almost double my normal levels but still getting high readings

Hello all
7.4 for me this morning that's about my average.
Then eggs and bacon and it drops to around 6.5
I x Met and long walks/diet, but still have a few carbs
Last Hb1c 41 due for my annual in March not expecting a change.
Self test levels daily after meals so I know what spikes me and avoid..
