Oh honey. Mine are a handful. Older boy keeps alot to himself but I know he uses his game console to have escapism from his dad's mental illness. 6yr old has alerted us to him being angry about his dad but says nothing. We are going to work on getting him to feel freer to express himself. My lot are all asleep, even the 2 finches. I'm awake and thanking God I've survived 2019. Other than impromptu asthma difficulties I've been ok. I've stopped forcing more walking in pain for more enjoyable adventures with my kids. Hoping it will blot out what I cannot do. I hv reconnected with some old friends who are trying to understand my difficulties. They are a godsend. I invite them to my home now I've prepared them for my new home living standards. They say they understand how much Mr Ickihun does for me and his kids after my mum's decimation of his good intentions. She has tried to make trouble but luckily we are a good unit and look after each other. I'm extremely proud of my 12yr old but 6yr old is doing marvellous considering his disability too. I'm very proud of all of my small family unit members. My grandfather when he met my grandmother blocked out trouble making siblings or bad influence members of his family and provided a hugely successful family unit til his death. They cannot be replaced. I miss them both terribly, especially at Xmas.Hello @JohnnyBaker87 and @ickihun , sorry I’ve not replied but I’m not getting notifications when people tag me . Anyway hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas . It’s been quiet we were hoping to get a new rescue dog as we lost our Max 4 months ago but things didn’t work out as they should off. Anyway we maybe getting one in the new year , fingers crossed as Rons depression seems to of got worse when we lost our dog . His family are hoping that a new dog (rescue) will help him . Everything was fine Christmas Day, but today fatigue seems to of got the better of him. Also his pain has got worse . One minute the pills help then the next he’s in agony . I’m never quite sure how to help him for the best . I so miss having kids around at least there was no boredom . Plenty of games to play .
How are you today @JohnnyBaker87?I've had a sharp, sore pain in my right hand side and lower back upon movement since Christmas. The pain was excruciating yesterday everytime I moved. The doctor gave me paracetamol tablets and advised me to apply a heat hot water bottle compress to the painful areas.
I swear by the ibuprofen rub from my GP for muscular sprains etc. I only use it when in total agony as my heart disease doesn't appreciate ibuprofen and after stomach op I cannot hv the tablet form. Ask GP or your chemist first @JohnnyBaker87. Let me know how you get on. I'm praying for your assisted living. This year I find out if on insulin for life or not. Scary but necessary. My new DN is very very friendly. Mr ickihun met her too. She is honoured.I'm still in a lot of pain, @ickihun, my lovely friend. I think I've got a badly sprained transversus Abdominus muscle on my right hand side through helping my friend with a disability with a heavy solid glass item of furniture into her flat. The heat compress is helping a lot, though. I'm still praying for my move as well as praying for you, @eldergarth and @tina_marie.
Any improvement with pain @JohnnyBaker87?I'm still in a lot of pain, @ickihun, my lovely friend. Bless you too @JohnnyBaker87. I'm delighted your pain has gone. Little one seems to be getting worse. He's now nearly 7yrs old but acting like a 4yr old. He's very very intense but his dad is too. Both together it can be very very disruptive for no reason. I'm due a break soon. So going to look at a few days away. Once I've recharged my batteries I can manage far far easier. I can see very obviously from my bg meter readings how stress is accumulative. I'm not sure if my blood pressure tablets are as effective 16hrs after I've taken them. I'm still on so many tablets I hv to take them with my levothyroxine and a good time away from multivitamins etc. Otherwise I forget to take them and it's midnight by the time I take iron, calcium and multivitamins. Humf. What a life!Yes, it's a lot better now. The Paracetamol tablets and heat compresses really helped plus persistent prayer. I enjoy praying. It bring me closer to my faithful Heavenly Father. I pray for you and your little autistic son and other members of your family. Jesus loves children but that goes without saying. He loves everybody. I'm praying for deliverance for you from all your health-orientated afflictions.
Poor man. My heart goes out to you both. My C-peptide came back 700 so there's hope for me to lose more weight and see how that responds. I'm having bleeding in my oesophagus so next week I hv an emergency booked investigation at South Shields hospital. Our major hospital is unable to cope with my emergency. I will use my PIP money for transport as I need a chaperone to bring me home due to my anxiety with medical procedures. I bet at the cost of £30-£40. I'm hoping I can claim it back due to our low income. Luckily I've stashed an emergency fund incase of an emergency. If I hv to hv an emergency procedure/op then that cost will triple for us.Gp came out to see Ron today , as he’s struggling to walk due to severe pain in legs . He’s increased the duloxetine yet again . He said if that didn’t work then they would look into seeing what else Ron could have . Over the weekend Ron has been in bed as the legs have been so painful plus worsening hip pain . His legs were so heavy I couldn’t even lift them . Every step he takes now it’s so painful for him that the air turns blue . Ron said if we ever get the move someone will have to carry him out .
Sounds like a few things have tipped your way for a change. I'm really pleased for you.Since the gp increased his duloxetine Rons had no sweats . Either when eating or when he’s around people . He still has problems swallowing and probably always will . Another plus side is we now have another rescue dog . He is absolutely gorgeous . He’s not to keen on Rons crutches so Rons got to wait a bit longer for a cuddle but I’ve had loads and sloppy wet kisses . On Monday we’re off to view a new bungalow to see if it’s suitable for Rons needs .
