Hello @cevans1 Firstly look for the section under which you would like to make your new post, then click the green tab which say's 'make a new post' and proceed from there, it's just a case of getting used to the site - welcome :)

I have other lifelong conditions which are affecting my diabetes, but absolutely no one cares. They performed a craniotomy, discharged me and in the last 3 years I have taught MYSELF to walk, talk a bit, and I’ve come back to the Forum because on here someone cares. Good people.

Oh and I hate that I’m now permanently confused without concept of time.

I love love love that my nurses laugh with me, my sense of humour came out intact. The rest is a jigsaw puzzle.

You live in lovely part of Ireland, been there with the Rallying Crowd.

the doctor reminded me yesterday that its 15 years since I was diagnosed T2, firstly on diet then on Metformin, then more Metformin, Gliclazide, Trajenta - so now I cycle, 200 / 250 miles a week in the summer, nothing at present as I had a serious accident on my bike 3 weeks ag. The cycling and a LC diet has bought the HBa1C down to 6.5%, my new Abbot Libre BG meter tells me it might be 6.3% next time,
