Fbg 7.6

My full diary for this coming week is now very depleted...friends have cancelled coffee mornings and meals...they don't want to come out especially as the quarantine quarters are at Arrowe Park for the first batch of Wuhan British evacuees, and they have been joined by another lot of Wuhan British evacuees for quarantine.

Arrowe Park is about 6 miles from where I live as the crow flies.

It seems as though I will be doing more painting and art stuff for the foreseeable future. And cat Popeye will be delighted I will be sitting with him every day!

However, I still have to go out every day. Because I was going to be out every day this week meeting friends, I arranged for my Amazon parcels to be delivered to a pick up point. And Amazon has 'kindly' split up the parcels so they will be arriving to the pick up point in dribs and drabs. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, I would just collect them on the way home. I did try once to redirect an Amazon parcel and the blinking thing got lost! So I think I will just do a bit of shopping each day I collect a parcel from the pick up point.

Here is my painting challenge for myself of a daily painting.

Morning All. 5.3 today so the run of luck continues. I got quite excited to see that rarity, a 4, yesterday but you’ve all heard enough about that. Had a nice evening with Mr PM back in the nest but now its Monday and laundry to do, errands to run, more stuff to the charity shop, flowers for the pots by the front door now we are back on the market. @dunelm happy birthday to Mrs Miggins hope you both have a great day.
Have a great Monday everyone if you can. Stay well, stay safe.

This was yesterday in my MIL garden, could not believe my eyes, open daffodils..... youcan see them in bottom I have then cropped into them, amazing.

You asked about two churches, they are two different villages, from this view point they look very close. They are on either side of the River Maulne and about 400 metres apart.

Beautiful spring daffodils from both you @Muddy Cyclist and @SaskiaKC

I live a bit high up, and mine don't come out yet in bud or flower...

I am going to cheat...when I go to collect my Amazon parcel today from the pick up point, I am going to sneak into the garden centre and buy a pot of blooming daffodils and take a photo in my garden and say spring is here in my garden...

Thanks Gennepher, how I would love to walk amongst those trees with the sun on my back. Sorry your friends have cancelled but hope your week turns out well. As you say Popeye will be glad.

Thank you @PenguinMum
My week will be good, there are so many things I want to do at home. I am actually normally a natural hermit!

Just watched you tube.
I have been watching Ben's updates from when he was in Wuhan. He continued to update his journey and the other evacuees to the UK.
And now he is continuing to update the quarantine.
He is a positive, upbeat, optimistic person.
Here is the link...

Good Morning and another high reading, 6.8 after going down throughout yesterday to a 5.3 by midnight.

@gennepher a lovely sunrise captured well, a bit like this morning here.

To bike ride or not to bike ride that is the question? Spirit is willing flesh is weak this morning. Another cup of coffee and then maybe I will be ready to face the day.

Do whatever you have planned well today.

Winner for the last sentence and overall attitude to life. Bg will revert to type once you do. Easier said than done.

good morning all :)

4.4 yesterday and 4.3 today

cold and wet today by the look of it when I peeked through the curtains ;)

Yesterday it was icy first thing here but then it warmed up and started up with heavy rain, I stood at the door of mum's house before taking Katy out for 'essential business' and I was amazed by the number of snowdrops in her garden which have appeared, all of a sudden, in the last few days.

We have some primulas coming out in the tub on the corner too :joyful:

It often seems to happen here that we have a mildish January but get heavy cold weather after that though.

Hope your day treats you well :)

@dunelm Happy Birthday to mrs. miggins :)

Food packed up for the day. Everything entered on Fatsecret. Doggies walked - sunny but a bit chilly.

off to work shortly - back at 10pm tonight. Had a cancelled client so now have a nearly three hour break when I will go across the road for coffee in the lovely warm pub restaurant. Will relax on the sofa reading Saturdays 'i' before going back for the evening classes.

As we all on here know control of BG reading often feels in the lap of the gods. However we have been blessed with the gift of freewill and so I trust we do have some control over such things, just takes some of us an age to get there. But thanks for your kindness and support it is all extremely helpful.
I have decided to fight my body feeling listless and listen to my spirit and go on the Muddy Bike ride.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

No excuse an 8.3 this morning, b ugger fine tuning, smacking with a lump hammer is required.

Running late again and Mrs J is not happy. I have not started on her list of keep me out of trouble jobs yet!

Was 4.4 this morning rather miraculous as had a full roast for lunch yesterday a once in a blue moon occurrence.

Just realised that my birthday this year falls on pancake day might be a slight problem there mind you it does mean that the day after marks the beginning of lent so I think I know what I'll be giving up for lent this year.

@Muddy Cyclist I have found I get phases of higher or lower bg. The stress of previous days that caused the rise will reset itself but maybe not today. Dont know if that helps but enjoy your bike ride and try not to worry. Best wishes.
