It's weird how it works isn't it because sometimes when your are really good ( low carbs ) you can have a disappointingly high reading.

Fasting blood sugars yesterday and today morning were 4.9.

7.6 on this rainy Saturday morning. Downward trend? Or fluke? It's not exactly a whale of a fluke.

My fasting BG in the morning is 5.1 mMol/L yesterday. Even two hours after supper my BG doesn't go above 6.7 when it used to go up to ten mmol/L at the beginning of treatment. I've cut down so much on carbs I'm hardly eating bread any more. I've had two loaves of bread in the cupboard for almost two weeks, a small amt left in a third loaf that's been around for so long it's going dry.

Hugs @mojo37 the late shift + takeaway is such an easy habit to get into - I was exactly the same when I was working shifts. Could you chuck something in a slow cooker so it’s ready for when you get in on those days?
