Thank youYour pollarded beech in winter dress is absolutely incredible, Muddy.

Thank you.Hello@MC. I don't usually feel qualified to comment on other people's art but just had to say that to me this painting is exceptional. Well done!
Thank youThis is absolutely stunning, so atmospheric. I love this tree painting.
Thank you, I have no idea what next an Ent perhaps if it will stay still long enough.Another very good tree picture - I do like the moss and the ground cover. What species next?
Your final fling with 'The Big Bird' painting brings the series to a very pleasing end. What is your next subject going to be?Good morning everyone from a wonderfully silent beginning to the day here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of ‘lets grill things on the new Ninja’ came in at 4.9 this am
A miserable day yesterday - rain, rain and even more rain just in case you missed out on any rain. Apart from that and some rain in the afternoon, not a lot. Oh! The window cleaner did come and do the windows and our new Ninja grill and air fryer turned up just in time to offer some alternative comedy come dinner time. Video link with Little Miss Pamplemouse practicing doubles and halves - very serious stuff and includes spots on ladybird wings amongst other visuals.
Last of the trio of big bird pictures today - hope everybody has a Fabulous Friday - time for koffy

A well seen and created misty Morning wood scene. I like the picture very much.Fbg 6.7
Trying to write my postcrossing postcards this morning. Cat won't let me. I keep stuffing him under my blanket, but he keeps coming back out and sitting on my postcards. So I gave up.
I thought it was very misty outside, but when I went out to check, I realised it was very low cloud cover. Came back in. Thought I would do a misty painting in Procreate. Cat said that's fine, I'll go under the blanket and leave you to your painting on your iPad...
So, here it is. Don't feel like writing postcards now...feel sleepy, so a nap is next on my to do list...

Thanks @alf_Josiah but the reason we - UK- are in this mess so deep and so long is because, if we are being very, very charitable, we are led (smirked at) by those who shrug their shoulders at poverty and inequality. If we are being more honest they - or perhaps those who put up the big money so they can live out their ambition - are happy for it to continue. Cui bono? Certainly not you and I. I'm angry as hell - so I'll rant on t'internet, have a walk around my garden then sit in a warm room, have a nice N'esspresso with cream. Might even knit my own muesli - vegan of course. No point rushing things - start the revolution next week, eh?Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who suffer the inequalities that life throws at them with a smile and just make the best of their lot.
A 6.5 on that meter of mystery and misbehaving.
I gave a hug to @Muddy Cyclist for having to clear out his shed and a care to @ianpspurs for acknowledging the struggle others have to endure, life is not fair, but it is life.
Here in Tilehurst Towers the day is a mystery, but it will be solved by tonight and with the help of Mrs J.
Stay well, stay safe and remember a smile costs nothing and will drive some miserable git crazy, now it's koffy and breakfast time.
Foot and hand note @dunelm's painting, the last 3 have been excellent top of the class. It's a wonder the tiny helicopter in each one doesn't scare those birds.
Thank you @Muddy Cyclist - I have no idea what comes next but I do have a couple of trees in reserve - might look at duck - not sure yet.Your final fling with 'The Big Bird' painting brings the series to a very pleasing end. What is your next subject going to be?
