What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

6.04 am told Errant it's much too early for breakfast, sent him back to bed.
8.10 am woke naturally and gave him his breakfast.
FBG 6 4. Takeaway pan asian meal with far too much soggy so called tempura batter to blame. For the ££s should have been wonderful. Very disappointing.
I had tempura prawns, chicken yakatori and spiced crispy cauliflower. Didn't expect the cauliflower to be battered.
Call from daughter reminded me it's mother's day, so had better go phone my Mum.

FBG prediction for the AM - hmmm 7 something? This evening it was 5.7 which considering yesterday's excesses that was pretty good. Have put on no weight either, which is a miracle.

Enjoy. There ya go @alf_Josiah LCHF Sunday roast defined however the eater wants it to be defined. There is no essence of a Sunday roast, just the existence. Our Sunday roasts or other Sunday meals, fasts or everything in between are all most fearfully and wonderfully created as are we.

I haven't heard of choczero before. Looks really low carb. Where have you found is the best company to buy it from?

I had to ban peanut butter and almond butter because I was so addicted to them. Almond butter has now crept back onto the shopping list. I.am not quite sure how that happened.

It is difficult being an adult white male in modern society,
it seems even the white royals are not able to deny a charge of racism and now white males are to take responsibility for white male twisted individuals attacking women?
Were the whole German nation responsible for what happened in the holocaust to the Jews and Gypsies?
No way and Jews of all people see where guilt lay.
We need to encourage moderation and protection of the vulnerable.
Perhaps if family relationships, which mothers day focuses on, are encouraged,
we could improve the lot of women.

Some poisonous parsnips got washed up on a beach up here due, perhaps, to high tides washing them out in erosion.
Hemlock is a very nasty poison, so watch what your dog picks up.

It makes it bearable. The weather is warm up to 25°C later in the week and it catches the sun in the afternoon. Work delivered to the hotel a large monitor so I can work; there's a large desk too, so all set to get prepped for the big contract discussion...

Even going out into the corridor is problematic so I stick the rules.

It is. We do have a lot of bad behaviour to weed out though. I worry about my daughter in Glasgow too...

We're not all to be tarred with the same brush; I lit a tealight for Sarah outside on my confinement terrace as I'm sure all decent folks no matter their creed, sexual orientation, race or gender would have done given the chance.

It's a treat ... and eaten sparingly...desertcart is where I have grabbed it before.

If you said Sunday Roast to these geezers in Taipei, I think a whole pig on a spit would turn up!

Seriously great roast pork, pigeon and duck are staples - had the roast duck yesterday - yum!

This was on offer today - roasted chicken, spicy veggies and was pretty nice. And a cheeky wee glass of red.
