What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Evening all. Just returned to my pit after a mega marathon day. With a 9 figure contract almost there...another day of it tomorrow from 10am till it's done...whenever that'll be. If I get delayed, and miss the exec jet heading out the plan B is Eva Air to San Francisco, stay there and do meetings in the Valley and then BA home to Heathrow. I'm hopeful we can get this done though

I'm collapsed on the sofa in my room with a double gin and diet tonic and catching up...

Dinner was here - all I can say is I'm thankful for my Corporate Charge Cards!!

FBG this morning 6.2 - the best it has been in 3 weeks - that was before I even knew I was getting a telephone interview out of the blue although not totally unexpected but I only applied for the job the other day. So just getting back to normal ish and here we go again ... stress ...argh ... which unfortunately as hard as I try to I can't control
This is grrrreat news about the interview!! We are all there on your shoulder in support! Yay!

Yes doing ok thanks - another interview tomorrow - zooming this time ... I just had the telephone interview earlier ...
Great news - the next one will be fab too

Concentrate on driving back from Cornwall young lady or is the much put upon Mr K driving? For goodness sake don't ever text about needing larger premises. :angelic:
My elderly auntie Myra kept texting me a while ago " Your cousin Kenneth has been locked in the cupboard and fallen on a pole"...I ended up phoning her as I was convinced Kenny was in some sort of accident. This is what she meant "Your cousin Kenneth has come out the closet and his boyfriend is Polish"

Not exactly an autocorrect but my throat was red raw from laughing.

Managed to fix blackout fabric over the skylight. Much darker this morning.
Errant woke us both just after 6.30am, he followed me when I went to do my ablutions, sat outside absolutely howling [https://www]. By the time we returned MrSlim had fallen asleep again, so the blackout fabric has definitely helped.20210324_150321.jpg

Here's for a successful day for our man out East. :)
I am cream crackered...
Hamish was playing Sheena Easton in the Toyota Tank then Barbara Dickson followed by Deacon Blue. When Andy Stewart started singing off key my brain blew up and I had to chuck a can of g and t down my neck...!!

Thanks @jjraak - happy enough but unable to get over to France is something that I can do nothing about. Unfortunately, when the garage began to flood, my mother was in hospital having a hip replacement and dad - in his mid 90’s didn’t think it was that important to let my sister know - oops!
I'm glad your folks are ok...

@genepher

Hope you're feeling a smidgen brighter.

Wan's wife takes two supplements to help with her own fibromyalgia - Chlorella Pyrenoidosa and Panax Ginseng.

Both help her relax and sleep Wan tells me.
He's getting more info and I will be glad to pass it on ...

Glad I kept my eyes open to catch up! If I missed anything I will hopefully get there tomorrow as it's a later start (thankfully) as I have prep in the morning before throwing myself feet first into the lion's den...

Have a splendido evening everyone and at 28 minutes before Thursday arrives in these them parts, nighty night one and all

Phone has been fixed now and our internet is getting more stable, BT have left a huge hole at the top of the village so I presume that is where the fault was :) Hopefully I can start to catch up with you all now

I did prefer it when it was winter...

It is sort of not quite here nor there. The painting is competent. As your work always is @Muddy Cyclist

I sort of see it cut in half, but the green tree in the middle belongs to both halves...so that's no good...
