The pre dawn was good and then the sky went insipid. But now at nearly 7 am, it looks a nice day.

I started this digital painting before I washed yesterday's pots, and while I was washing them I was looking at the moon that had been full a few days ago. It deflates very quickly. And was looking like the air was coming out of the side of it as it was deflating...

So I came back to my digital painting in Procreate, which was looking like wild blue waves at sea, and a red/orange sky. I tried the moon in it, but it didn't work, not satisfactorily to me anyway.

This was meant to be a quick painting because I wanted to get out in the garden...

But that never works out. I then get involved with the digital painting, changing this, changing that, altering colours, repainting over it and so on. I think it is a brain meditation to put my thoughts in a good place, or the best possible place for the coming day.

So the waves changed to a sort of rocky landscape (maybe you can still see the influence of the waves in them?), and the sky got smoother which suited this particular moon better, which is near enough what I saw this morning out of the kitchen window. It is a lot easier to do a full moon, rather than a deflating moon, so full moon it is!

So, this is my painting contribution for today!

Good Morning and 6.1 for me today. A meal of fried Beef Mince, onion, courgette, carrots tomatoes and herbs, served with Cauliflower to replace the spaghetti portion size worked out at about 20 grams LC, my self imposed limit for a single meal.

Visitors today for chilly garden sit in, fire pit at the ready, thermal blankets acquired.

Keep safe and keep warm.

Back to 6.0 again. Last night it was 3.9 when I went to bed so quite a dramatic rise.

Read the side effects of the antibiotics I started taking and it says it affects results of blood tests. and increases liver enzymes. Am having an hb1ac shortly so phoned surgery to check if it needs to be postponed. Pharmacist thinks that it only affects blood tests while taking it but I am not convinced.

Hi Krystyna,
Doxycycline affects GGT, all drugs have side affects to a lesser or greater extent.
Some like the above should restrict our exposure to sunlight.
We can soon get back to normal if we are not taking them long term but I doubt they switch back to normal immediately.

I have spent a little more time on yesterday's watercolour but not finished, will try Friday..

Trying to capture the late afternoon light on Spring Beech Trees, needed some negative painting of background. Need to send the blue to a more dark forest blue green but it's progressing....

A4 Watercolur, if this one works out I will try some more late evening tree pictures...

Welcome to SSASF and Memeday (thanks @karen8967) here in a chilly enclave of Bidenia-Hancockshire. No fbg - there are currently several ongoing investigations and I will decide if I announce the results, thank you very much. They may be too complicated for you little people or too inconvenient for me. Wonderful art @gennepher. Hug for the stress and possible effect on HbA1C of antibiotics @Krystyna23040. Last night's meal sounds good @Muddy Cyclist. You are braver than I including carrots and onions. I soo miss those on this bat poo crazy regime which is a major reason I don't "do" meat often. Deal justly and with love unto all today but above all stay safe, stay well and come back tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm off to find out what possible use an aubergine could be to mankind.

It recalls a scene one may get at dawn at the volcanic irruption on Iceland.
Some of those net videos could make for an interesting subject for art.

Good morning everyone from a decidedly wet and bouncily noisy start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of chicken parmesan with stir fried greens came in at 5.4 this am

Eventually got out of bed at 7.47 but no leaving on a jet plane just yet, the ankle bracelet of ‘let’s still not go anywhere, anytime soon’ forced brain back to reality. Still, a good thought while it lasted. I expect that our first trip will be over to French Froggy France to visit my parents. Mrs Miggins’ car still in garage at point day 3 - they are awaiting a part - at small length of non-essential looking plastic that wraps into the door frame as the door shuts - mechanism covered by warranty but part needs paying for - £15 - holly molly!

Art today, first of two - but might be three - of two birds wading about looking hungry. This one quickly painted using a wet brush on unsized yellow rice paper. Hope that this rain does not fall on your parade. Time for koffy.

Yes, that is exactly what I was concerned about, especially as I am on the highest dose you can take. The antibiotic is clarithomycin and it has a huge list of side effects listed on the accompanying leaflet. Clinical trials also show that it increases blood sugars in people with diabetes.

I think that I would be inclined to test more and probably eat to my readings, drink more fluids and walk a bit more. I have found, for me at least, that if my bs goes high, something with a bit of fat/protein in it followed by a brisk walk, even 20 minutes round the house seems to do the trick - I have shares in BabyBel.

Blood sugars were a straight 6 today.

Now me and me's must depart and try to reclaim something of the morning.
