@KK123 hope you are ok? I’ve been taking your advice and my numbers are generally a lot better (lots in the green (6.5-8.5) in my app). I am getting a few readings which I thought were a bit high considering what I had eaten but as I’m new to this wasn’t sure?! Could you advise. I’ve completely cut out carbs and feel a lot better already. Definitely less headaches and mood feels better. I expect it’s all in my head but the thought of carbs turns my stomach at the moment.
However after eating a meal of steak with salad and roasted tomatoes I was 9.6, last night I cooked baked aubergine with tomato sauce and cheese, ate with salad (14.5!!) and on waking yesterday I was at 9.2. The previous evening I had a plate of sliced runner beans (to substitute pasta) and a sauce with veg, then a few slices of Italian ham, olives, cheese.
In your opinion I am better to focus on average numbers rather than worrying about individual times of the day?
I’ve found a private dietitian and have an appointment with her on Tuesday so I’ll be interested to see what she recommends.
