Fbg 6.9

My painting in Procreate today. No thought in mind, just did the background, then decided to put silhouettes into it....
Make of it what you will...

I am going to do an 'I am going to do what I want to do day today...' and it doesn't include people or answering the doorbell...

From out of nowhere appears a great piece of art, good strong colours and Popeye included.

Making the day yours seems a great idea.

Got confirmation that classes are exempt from the rule of 6 as long as there is no mixing and we adhere to the 2m rule. So from the 17th May I will slowly get back to our venues. Am also thinking that even when the 2m rule is scrapped I will still keep to it in classes. Just to be extra safe.

That sounds a good idea anyway @Krystyna23040
Good luck with all the extra work involved with the venues, and travelling to and from them.

Good morning everyone from the quiet after the deluge in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of stir fry and loads of veg came in at 6.1 this morning - note to self - still not good at low protein and loads of green and red things.

It’s another International parade of the bin lorry today so have already been out preparing General Bin Waste Bin. Eldest son’s birthday yesterday but he was stuck indoors with some type of man flue curtesy of his first Covid-19 jab.
The carpet measuring bloke appeared during the deluge yesterday and measured up - this ‘freshening up’ of the hallway is taking on a life of it’s own and such pets weigh heavy on the purse. Best thing to do is to just nod on cue although consensus was reached about exactly which carpet should be laid.

Another 6 x 4 this morning. It’s on a sample of semi sized paper called Cicada and has a few silver flecks in it. Happy Mittwoch, koffy time.

Update on the Capcha issue that some of us have experienced. On reporting, @Goonergal thinks it is now fixed but also makes the following suggestion when replying to long posts (you hinted at this very thing @jjraak):

“From my own observations it seems to occur when you’re trying to respond to or edit posts with several links/images so I suspect it’s connected to some of the forum spam filters. Suggest you highlight the specific part of the post you want to respond to and see whether that helps.”
I shall give that a whirl.

Hugs for higher BG reading, sounds like you are on the case though.

Winner for art, Mrs Miggins now's got three very good Mountain Scapes to frame and hang in your refreshed hall. Hope the colours go with the colour scheme of new carpet. :)

Good morning all. Proper smorgasbord of topics for my mind to play with since I last visited. I may miss some due to bright shiny objects, Moana and 2 on Friday granddaughter (No 3 of 5) being, frankly, more interesting. Sorry peeps. Factually, Swipey was on 5.1 on waking. Emotionally that was almost like being slapped in the face with a medium sized fish (family memory of No 1 son in school Panto. TV cameraman among parents) I would love to be a radiator not a drain on here but truth impedes atm. Sympathy for #Hallgate @dunelm. Hug for wet bed @SlimLizzy. Yay (where did I get that word?) for the return to some form of normality @Krystyna23040 and @Muddy Cyclist and usual venues. Insulated roof for conservatory sounds like £s @Krystyna23040 but hopefully whisky money is hypothecated. Another in the series of splendid fbgs @karen8967.
The time is gone, the song is over
Thought I'd something more to say;)

He keeps us on our toes.:) Mind you on the working class v middle class activities there are some mighty fine musicians, poets, artists, scientists and Past Conservative PMs from working class backgrounds if my memory serves me well. :)
Struggling to fit a Blue Team PM into that classification as W/C

This is another brilliant 6x4 painting @dunelm
I love it.

You are so right - it is costing £s but it hopefully will be much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
I'm sure you have the same but we had air con that also heated. Boys stayed up late and left heating on all night regularly. Huge bills for energy - and alcohol:arghh: Would cost a fortune to move drains and eat up the dinky garden here - not worth it- but would solve some issues. Hope the roof delivers an equitable environment for you.

Sorry, 3 in a row. I hadn't heard of Geoduck before this. Secondly, P:E sounds like the way to go BUT how do I make low fat high protein meat and poultry edible and LC? I can't really stand pepper never mind chilli or Nando's type sauces or are they condiments?. Any ideas for h/m LC sauces - Diet Dr recipes are a total no go for me. TIA
