Well, this is scary as it implies my grandchildren want to eat all their grandparents. Are there any other types of car or fridge in this day and age, Owen? Young Jones is a tad too far left for me but does help me to keep an eye on the really, really, really woke. You'd love him enjoy his views (if you google him you'll see why I changed that) young Alfred, young sparrow me owl.

You'll be lucky.
I am checking out heated body warmers...or down ones, I won't need to recharge those. I still remember the '70's @ianpspurs
I spent my gap year initially "working" in the 3 day week. Secured the place I wanted (interview Feb '74 - snowy day) then spent the year playing sport, picking fruit and going to festivals :woot::woot:. I have down body warmers, base layers etc, etc but I'm mucho shrunko and boy do I feel and dislike the cold.

Caught up on sleep last night. So a bit late getting started today...
Took this photo at the time on the clock. Made a cuppa.
Got back in bed to work on this in Snapseed.
Oops only 10 mins left. I had set myself the goal of editing in Snapseed and posting this by 7 am...

Lincoln time meant that anyone who got quartered in a morning got hammered in the engineering works in Lincoln, especially if they were newly married. Hammers on metal topped benches made a terrible racket.

Creative work for today. A kaleidoscope. It is actually a photo of Popeye in the garden.
But this kaleidoscope app is new to me and I cannot figure out how to save it. So I took a screenshot and had to crop the tool icons it of it.
I set myself a time limit again, but my time was spent mostly trying to figure out the tools. I need an instruction booklet...but I will try again later today. I always feel I have failed if I cannot figure something out without the instruction booklet.
I got some beautiful stunning effects with this app, but I lost them trying to figure out how to save them...sigh..

5.3 this morning. Had a lovely long chat with daughter in Canada so was quite late to bed. Just off for the dog walk so will catch up with posts after the walk.

Good morning everyone from what looks like another smashing start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of ersatz mash with chicken in creamy garlic sauce came in at 5.4 this am

Appointment at GP surgery went well - saw one of the specialist practice nurses (the ones that can actually prescribe lots of things as long as they are not psychotropically exotic). So, a bag of goodies will be delivered to the door this morning including some tramadol and some sort of spray containing both a steroid and antibiotic for my run silent, run deep ear.
Girl in the bubble arriving this morning - Mrs Miggins is taking her swimming which means that I can nick the car for a couple of hours. We have a wedding to attend at the weekend and I need to buy a new frock.

Another washing up liquid painting. Have a marvelous pre-bin day. I must make koffy.

Thanks @dunelm
Well, I finally went into the Help section...drop down menu after drop down menu, and it said to press the floppy disc icon to save...
Only problem, there is no floppy disc icon...nowhere...
There has to be a way to save, because I am getting some incredible effects as moving kaleidoscope bubbles....
So went back to the drop down menus which are as clear as mud...
So selected from one drop down menu, which led to another, and another, and at the very bottom of a mile long list was an option to save. So I tried it, and it worked.
So, created another brilliant kaleidoscope...but I couldn't remember the pathway of drop down menus. Finally got to 'save' about half hour later. The pathway has no logic to it...
Tried again, 20 mins later...again and again, and now I have it imprinted on my brain.

But the drop down menus for the whole thing to create the effects are hundreds of them.

I think I will go back to a screenshot...it is simpler...unless I want to create a kaleidoscope video in which case I need to trawl through every option under the sun to get to 'Save'...

Another fantastic washing up liquid painting @dunelm
So many possibilities with this.
Glad the nurse was able to prescribe stuff for you.

Good morning diabetics anonymous. I'm Ian and I'm a diabetic. Gladys (in the 5s - new Swipey) and Elsie day today. So, hold my nose, eat what Elsie brings and whistle in the dark style of thing. Nice Elbow moment whilst pouring 2nd bucket of Assam. Image attached but steam rising from next door's (Uncle Sam's hired protection) side of fence not clear. (That is what passes for suitable surroundings these days.) Hug for the back and ear but winner for the medicine cabinet refill @dunelm. Amazing kaleidoscope @gennepher and such tenacity finding save. Great fbg @karen8967 and so pleased for you with that phone call with daughter @Krystyna23040. St Matthew's day today, Autumn equinox and Ember day tomorrow. Could be too late or too optimistic to order your turkey. Go well chums.

I used to enjoy reading Owen Jones column in the 'i'.
I do like reading a wide range of viewpoints in the 'i' so was quite sad when he left for the Guardian.
