Interesting painting @dunelmGood morning everyone from a very wet and water bouncing start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of not a good night clocked in at 6.1 when I got up at 3am. Was it the restless night or the Naproxen, or a combination of both, who knows.
Books - all old accounts now sorted and made ready for the incinerator so now it’s the turn of books. Loads of them brought down from the attic. What to keep? What to donate to a charity shop? Tomlinson’s Comprehensive Guide to Northumberland will have to stay, as will a 1913 copy of the poetical works of Longfellow. I think that the Oxford Companion to Philosophy and some of the Shakespeare plays can be enjoyed by someone else. Recipe books - I thought that we had rid ourselves of those but up they popped - and down to a charity shop they must go.
Art today is just a wee doodle of a photo that I saw on the internet. Have a great day if you can, I am already koffied out.

Thanks @ianpspursGreetings from a very wet Forest Heath. Free watering for newly seeded areas of lawn and sun forecast later this week. Still ok for shorts and no socks,
do need a 2nd top at night and early walks but not all bad. To business. Ho, ho young masters what have we here then? A filthy (cricket term for a rubbish bowl) 6.2 from Tee 2
. Don't even bother with hugs or that's ok it just isn't. Boosterism has limits as is becoming very clear. Signs of another virus from fitbit dashboard, clear impact of/on weekly stats - lat flow says not covid but who knows? A good diet, lifestyle, environment and spiritual life stops these viruses - two of these I can work on, one is non negotiable for now and Elsie has always been difficult. Hug for the low @karen8967 I know you are experienced enough to deal - jelly baby, digestives (s)? - but hugs anyhow. Likewise @dunelm for the restless night and whatever caused the need for Naproxen - don't seem to disturb my fbg. Thanks for the art. @gennepher your art is a wonderful, undeserved, gift for us all. @Krystyna23040 the smell of wet labs - so country set. Now, a chune for y'all - not forgetting lyrics. Laters, dudes.
A great selection of stuff @alf_JosiahGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, an early start here in Tilehurst Towers.
A squeaky 5.1 this morning on that meter….
Me and me’s had a warfarin blood test this morning scheduled for 8:30 am, alarm clock to the rescue, oh and strong tea closely followed by a strong koffy. Apparently our GP’s is starting flu jabs this weekend and if they get supplies the booster jab.
@gennepher hopefully herewith and another picture of work in progress View attachment 51443
These shields and axes are for the grandchildren, due to domestic pressures nothing is finished, the grandchildren are making the axes. Lots more still to do and a little artwork on the shields. On the right of picture is a planter I made some years ago now.
Have a great day all and remember the stays.
Great stuff on the image transfer plus Alf bloodaxe and issue with commendable craft skills. Hope the warfarin tests come back/were good and your flu jabs go ahead.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, an early start here in Tilehurst Towers.

Alf if you go onto 111 you can see if you qualify for a booster dose yet, it seems Marjorie at 79 does not qualify yet?Ahh, thanks for the wishes on the warfarin tests, all the hospital do is alter the dosage and frequency of the test.
As an aside, I got my flu jab a week or so ago at the local chemists, bitter experience has taught me not to rely on my surgery for flu jabs, we shall see about the booster jab….
Took one and two paracetamol last night and a lot more rested today.Hug for Sciatica and worrying about your daughter. Julie finds Gabapentin helpful which does help her sleep better being a muscle relaxant. I'm a babe compared to you but I'd say a good night's sleep is worth its weight in gold compared to any concerns over side effects from or worries over addiction to Gabapentin. Take care fella.
hi ian thanks for the hug im having a time of it lately with lows, ive changed all my ratios of insulin so maybe that will help i never treated the low as i was about to have breakfast i just never gave any insulin for it and i never went above 8 so all good xGreetings from a very wet Forest Heath. I hear what you say about Naproxen and I'm none too keen on suing it much. However, I'm not sure you worry about water damage when the fire is destroying the house. Investigate the cause of the fire later.Took one and two paracetamol last night and a lot more rested today.
Thanks guys it was good advice you gave.
Hi Dunelm, Naproxem is not a good drug for kidneys or stomach, a PPI can help the stomach but you sometimes have to ask doctors for them.

I an sure there is a grusome elephant rabbit cross sitting in the bottom R.H.side!Fbg 6.6
