can only assume this is from a very disturbed night with little sleep, because very little food has passed my lips in the last two days.
Weight has plummeted to 48.9kg, never mind Christmas is coming. That's sure to do some damage.
The roofers are still here, nowhere near finished and last night was blustery, lots of flapping and banging, plus a few slates hurtling down the roof and smashing on impact.
Thanks to @gennepher and @dunelm for good wishes. I actually think it might have been the new covid variant, (despite a negative test)the timescale is wrong for flu jab reaction, six days seems too long. Four-five days after a friends wedding party. What is the incubaction period? Has to be somewhere we went together because we both got something. Maybe we picked it up at the chemists, along with the flu jab. Guess we will never know

How to "rate" that? Hug for the illness and loss of weight which you most certainly don't need. Winner for roofing progress and that will certainly look a very handsome house when roofed. Take care.

5.5 this morning. Last day of classes before a very welcome break. Am so looking forward to 3 much more relaxed weeks.

Good morning from a cold, beautifully fleck skied Saturday in Forest Heath. My own fbg should be within the safe zone based on a cronometer analysis of yesterday's food (<20 gms carb) mainly moules in a garlic and butter sauce (W, obviously. I'm not a heathen
), halloumi frites and foccacia (free from The Low Carb food co as a goodwill gesture for a mix up over my order). Nothing there * I've not analysed and tested in 6.5 years except the foccacia - <3 gms carb for 125 gms. External and internal lights sorted to JKP's satisfaction yesterday. A dinky stick gives a very realistic real tree smell which we both like muchly. No huge salad and about a litre less tea may have solved one part of the sleep issue. Blackout mask - thanks for the idea @gennepher - may solve JKP's "need" to watch tv to help nod off. @Krystyna23040 I too hope you luxuriate in 3 weeks of peace. You should have a stern word with your diary secretary - not in public though could be totes awks, hun. The omnishambles? Most succinct analysis I've read in years - "you ordered it, you eat it" Of the two, even this buffoon may be better than Truss without a minder. How did it come to this guys? I still wish y'all a wonderful day and compliments of the season but do think harder in future, please.
*I forgot the LCFC sausage roll - 1 gm carb. The rosemary in the foccacia was so subtle as make one feel it may have been absent - I did know the sea salt was present

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all are who entering the festive mood.
Today a 5.6 on that meter, can it be trusted? Over the next few days……no me and me’s think not.
Here in Tilehurst Towers full supervision abounds, tasks will be handed out, suggestions made and in all probability “ not heard “, a survival technique learned over 43 odd years of marriage.
My list of my own tasks is getting longer, quite a few of them involve painting, the dulux type of painting, but its far too cold, but one task has pushed itself to the top of the list is sort out my neighbours flashing Christmas lights that he has attached to my trellis work, life is fun, my neighbour might not think so later today.
Must go time to take my civilising pills…..

Oh dear oh dear...
Maybe I will tell you all what I have been doing last few days so I can go in my garden and watch the night sky in tranquility while Blackpool Illuminations are strobing away next door. All is not well in the State of Denmark here...it seems there is the war of Xmas lights going on in this road. It is not impacting on me, so don't worry there, my strategies and screening for my bedroom is still working absolutely brilliantly.
Your neighbour attaching flashing Christmas lights on your trellis work. No no no. My mischievous mind is already at work...visually using natural stuff I have in my garden @alf_Josiah
Although...oh no, oh dear, my secateurs have just slipped. But my mind is having more fun with other ideas...

Hug for #lightgate. I hadn't fully realised the advantage of living twixt 2 properties rented by officer class, well brought up US service families told in no uncertain terms if they upset the natives they live on base and advancement won't happen. Pay someone to decorate or better still get a donor to pay and claim you paid.

Well, I was working hard in my garden yesterday despite the wind, cold, and rain....not finished yet. Having another go today...using the cut down branches and bamboo and natural vegetation in my garden...to try and achieve my aim...
Came back in and had a long sleep hugging my radiator...
Creative today...well, the repeat order of those lovely calligraphy pens I liked the other day, we're not as I expected. They were not the same. But they were the same as the actual photographs on the Amazon site. So, this set is another make, has 5 pens, not 6. But it does have the refill ink, and these pens do come apart. Although I don't recommend doing this in bed. Fortunately I have an old brown electric blanket over everything...
These are blacker, the lines it makes are crisper. And here is my try out with them...
I have to go now. The promised rain has not materialised. Mr Christmas Lights Insensitive Ignoramus neighbour has just gone out in his car...
No, I am not going on his property. I would not do that. But I do like to work outside on my property when he is not openly watching and leering at me. It is a good job J is not here (he died 12 years ago). And J was a peaceful person, nothing would rile him, but if he had seen next door leering at me.........
I am working wonders with all my cut bamboo, and the branches off my oak trees where those brown autumn leaves stay attached to the branches for months even after being cut...
Have fun today. Try not to upset anyone...

The wonders wheel of a tomato (tinned) based stew came in at 5.1 this am
Just back from the Farmers Market - you can get 2 hours free in the supermarket car park adjacent to where the market is held so down there by 9am to secure a slot. Back with some tasty goodies including a couple of extraordinarily expensive tombola prizes in aid of guide dogs for the bewildered. Dropped off Mrs Miggins at her sisters yesterday tea time - they are now on their way to Southampton to board a cruise ship to goodness knows where. Lots of prior testing and downloading of proofs and passports and more testing when they return. I am walling up the drive, inserting a sally port and learning a small section of script from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Something to do with hedgehogs and elderberries.
Another tree for today to save Kielder forrest. Hope your day is a fabulous one. Hugs for those tackling the blaze of neighbouring lights. Time for some more koffy.

Thanks for the tree. Farmer's market? You really are "one of us." I always knew the man protesteth too much. The subtle affectation of "tea time" is a nice touch. Well payed.
I hope Mrs Miggins and her sister enjoy the cruise and stay safe. All the online form filling was a mission even before plan B or C or ??- for JKP obviously If she gets a chance whilst in S'oton, the Oxford Road area houses some nice eateries, coffee shops, boutiques etc. Ideal for "our kind of people." Are you really to be trusted on your own?. I do hope she knows what she is doing. I guess that's another, you ordered it you eat it waiting to happen
