What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Your avatar needs to be the Duracel Bunny. Stunning fbgs and such care and attention to your "clients" - I strong;y suspect you see them as friends. I implore you to take time out for yourself but I'm a very simple soul. My old village is still looking all over for their lost idiot. Keep quiet, they don't have much fun these days.
@ianpspurs - that was a very.perceptive comment. Yes I do see my clients as friends which is definitely one of the reasons why I enjoy doing what I do so much. The downside is that it does lead to me over-working.

Dark, cold and wet here and I think the weather is about the same. @Jojo85 enjoy the weather, Aussie cricketers seem to be having fun taunting Root's shower. @Krystyna23040 - perceptive? c'mon it is me you are talking about. My fbg was 5.4:meh: New, simplified briefing to save on pizza and wine. Rishi is fretting over the expense. I'm off to the gym later - as much symbolic as useful but it is, allegedly, a tailored programme. Just found out DWP gave me £10 for Christmas. Should almost cover a side of salmon for Fridays in January - on offer in local supermarket.

Bad internet connection here.

Fbg 6.5

A second Xmas card. But I have been doing other important necessary stuff today.
I need to get my Christmas card skates on if I stand any chance of people getting anything this year. A deer on the card wasn't easy to do...I need something easier...

Well worth the effort, someone will appreciate receiving it.

We have cancelled trip to UK and now I am getting flack from other members of the family.
Didn't expect that, decided not to engage in further discussion. Leaving my final statement as "We no longer meet the requirements to travel to UK, as now it is essential travel only"
Probably a good call in this ever changing scenario. I hope that you both have a wonderful Christmas and can get to see family once things are clearer.

5.2 this morning. So far all that sitting at the computer hasn't affected fbg yet.

Am on a Zoom course this morning about knee issues which will be really interesting. Before covid I would travel to London the day before a course so I could visit an exhibition at the British Museum and would stay at my favourite hotel the Montague on the Gardens. It was a real treat.

Now I just switch on the computer and do the course. Actually I do rather like the new way of doing courses. It is more relaxing.

Good morning everyone on a bit of a misty start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of avocado salad rocked home at 5.2 this am

Shopping yesterday - I needed about 20 minutes but got nearly an hour dodging the crowds. Catch up with daughter and the girl in the bubble then home to get the dining room sorted out for next week. Mrs Miggins is on her way home from Southampton and I have a wonderfully festive PCR test waiting for her as a welcome home gift. I have been told that if it is negative, it plays that Chris Rhea song that everyone is trying to avoid.

No trees today, but a few reeds, handy if you are a certain type of musician. Hope your Saturday is a good one. Take some time to savour the delights of a koffy (or tea if you prefer, or gin - a bit early for scotch though).

Lovely looking hotel. We like that area, so handy. Used to stay in the Russel Hotel. It went down hill a bit but has now changed hands - must check out the Montague on the Gardens next time we head into Mordor.

Good morning all. fbs at 8.30 am was 10.9 but I had just drunk a cup of black tea. That is all I am allowed to pass my lips until my gastroscopy later this morning. Hubby's 70th birthday was successful/ enjoyable. Instead of a family get together he chose to invite people for tea and cakes in small numbers over 2 days to reduce the risk of Covid transmission and spoiling Christmas for anyone. A good time was had by all. Enjoy your week-end everyone. :)

Good luck, me and me’s had one last Monday, I would like to say enjoy, but that would be cruel. Sounds like birfday boy had a good time. Oh I forgot to say smile for the camera .
