What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Brother-in-law showing signs of improvement. He has other health issues that are making his treatment much more complex - but he is definitely in the best place and hopefully all will be sorted.

Good Morening all, another day at the coal face of Christmas.

5.5 this morning.
In the interests of world peace and harmony me and me’s will, whoops unofficial secrets act has kicked in.
Have a great whatever, whenever and however.
Stay safe, stay well and stay apart.

How long will this take to go down to normal after that severe Spikevax booster reaction?

No painting.
Photograph from my misty back garden this morning.

I looked out the front first, but that was dark depressing misty...more with an apocalypse feel.

Have a good day as you can.

Good morning all on the Feast of St John the Evangelist. Feast implies meat. Hopefully, turkey qualifies. I know what Swipey showed I just don't know my fbg so I won't mislead you - we have a government dedicated to that job. If you had a bad day yesterday I pray today will be better but remember "The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven." If yesterday was good for you, I'm delighted for you. Repeat to fade. @Krystyna23040 I agree your brother in law is certainly in the right place hence the winner. Tinkerty Tonk Old Fruits.

Smashing photo and I hope that you will feel back on top within another day or so.

Good morning everyone from a marvellously quiet start here in the dark and dangerous north.
Wonder wheel of japes and misery is now consigned to the bin, replacement can just wait and probably ring in the New Year - or the day after that. Yes, the day after that as I spotted a stollen cake in the larder as well as a box of assorted biscuits for cheese although I must not (sic) have any and just stick to chomping my way through a selection of cheeses that Mrs Miggins bought in France. Comte - should we get a cauliflower? Around the world in 80 days - anyone else watch the double episode offering on the beeb?
Art bit - last of the ones I did earlier in the month so best get on with some more today. Have a smashing day if you can. I am off to make some koffy.

5.0 this morning. Was looking at photos on my tablet of Christmas 2006. We were staying in a lovely luxury cabin in the Blue mountains in Australia with our eldest daughter who was living in Australia at that time.

It was such a lovely place. The scenery was stunning and we all looked so relaxed and happy.

Thank you for sharing the art. Comte is very acceptable even without assorted biscuits. Comte with cauliflower? How very recherché. Stolen? One small bite way back in the dim and distant was one too many. We watched both episodes of that programme even though there was NFL and we have other TVs. I can do sensitive (occasionally):smug:

Good morning,

After a restless night fbg came in at 5.9
My nieces slept over and they are only 3 and 6 years old, so the 3 year old kept waking me up during the night lol
Off for a walk today

Hi all

No testing as yet, one battle at a time
But it'll soon be back on the menu

Just spoke to family in Birmingham.

My cousin's daughter, recently gave birth.

Her daughter & newly born son now in hospital with covid.

Dad has it too, though self isolating at home.

And they had avoided all & been extra careful as my cousin is in the cev group .

So I'll be saying a prayer for them all tonight.

Great news about your BiL, @Krystyna23040 .:)

May his recovery be swift

6.0 this morning. Have started reading my first book this year - Richard Osman's second book. I wasn't sure what l thought about his first book but Mr K says this one is better. My New Year's resolution is to set more time aside for reading.
