What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Hello everyone from a very summery region of The Exotic East. Some real heat promised here by Friday which will be pleasant for we who like that but other folk may not. I hope the back clinic goes well @dunelm and thank you for the art. The BBQ obviously went well - OMAD needs to be wolfed down in an hour max according to the MCC handbook. @gennepher another well observed account and Midnight seems to be becoming "your" cat. @Krystyna23040 yesterday at Goderstone sounds wonderful in every detail. How do people actually eat and enjoy Montezumas? I tried and failed miserably. These and Waitrose 1 are the best I can now manage. More childcare today - 10 month old grandson mastered crawling over the weekend. Deep, deep joyloads in the follyplops for us but good news for him. Have a simply splendid day. My sympathy for farmers and by extension the COL crisis since our leader has a cunning absolutely no food plan. Talking of which, other people matter enough for you to care so let's all give that a go shall we?

Haha. Nice cartoon

And on a day when the govt take a small nation hostage & threaten harm
Classic...every one do as you're told & no one gets hurt

Got a little skin in the game too for clarity .
(Endearingly called the plastic paddy by the in-laws :hilarious: )

And Twitter was very telling
Some who would never be advocating support for Sinn Fein, openly doing so

Hug for the skin in the game. He and his enablers are human wrecking balls. In other news this is brilliant.

Love it
He's a bit of a Bruiser ain't he .

That pic makes me think much as I like 'Midnight ' I'm of the mind 'Jabba' might have been equally suitable. ;):D
He is a little on the large size @jjraak
But he is the sweetest little Angel. Follows me around in the garden like a limpet...

He oversees the garden, keeps Mr Magpie and Mr Blackbird in check just by his presence. Mr Fox does not dare visit any more.

So he is very useful...

Thanks Ian,
It seems he is coming a fixture and figurehead

Midnight was sitting on the swing, when his eyes opened wide, and he looked towards the undergrowth. Intruder alert, his eyes said. I had my iPad in my hand because I was looking for a kaleidoscope possibility. So I quickly turned it on Midnight and caught one shot before he jumped down and disappeared into the dark vegetation.

This is just his right ear and right eye (so he now looks complete with two ears!

I don't know what is up with Mr Blackbird but he is being constantly chased all day long....by a female blackbird. And he is fleeing for his life. I cannot tell if this is his Mrs Blackbird from earlier this year, chasing him for maintenance, or if this is an admirer of his. But she is very persistent, and all day long the airways above my garden are being crisscrossed by this chase.

All the regular birdies and regular stray cats are all present and correct. Little Miss (teenage sparrow) is still flying with the Bluetit family.

And Midnight, I always feed all the cats and birds immediately I wake up in the morning before I make my cuppas, was sitting in the middle of my bungalow cleaning his face when I came back with my tea and coffee. He looked at me, "You did say I could come in, didn't you." And he continues cleaning himself, while I go back to bed with my cuppas.

I get back into bed, and I can see the swing outside swinging, Midnight has got back outside on to the swing and is overseeing the cat diner while I write this post.

Quick shot McGraw captures the best side. Have a great day.

Good morning everyone on what may or may not be another day under the sun here in the dark and dangerous north.
Who would want to boo someone just for wearing a black velvet cloak and a silly hat? Should have hidden behind the curtain like the other impersonator of Bella Lugosi’s famous characters.
Back Pain Clinic went well and included talkies with b&w images followed by much torture in the form of bending, stretching, swiveling and preventing to have a hoola hoop. Plan in place, including possibility of 3 week residential course of treatment.
Nothing planned today except a wander down to the post office.
Art bit, another couple of trees added to the line from yesterday’s finish point. Tuesday? If it is, hope it’s a good one. Best dash, koffy to make.

@ianpspurs your post reminded me of the saying 'one mans meat is another mans poison'. On Sunday I was going to take protein powder but decided that it would be so much nicer to take my Montezuma chocolate. Sitting in the sunshine with my coffee and Montezuma chocolate was so lovely.

@gennepher Midnight is definitely getting braver. It looks as though he may become an indoor cat in the future.

@dunelm good that a plan is now in place.

3/10 @alf_Josiah.
Must try harder
Yes O master, :).
Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and of course @dunelm, Mrs J says I’m very trying, what she means I have no idea….
5.2 on that meter this morning.
Here in Tilehurst Towers plans are being made, could involve thinners and varnish.
Stay well, stay safe and come the revolution we all could end up back where we started :banghead:

Almost forgot to post fbs. 5.3 this morning. A bit of admin to do before the lunchtime classes. Have got a long break in the afternoon so a relaxing coffee, or two, in the pub across the road while I read the paper and do the Suduko.
