What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.7

Awake early...
The trail cameras both ran out of battery life, despite looking good when I set them up.
So a bit of a failure here, but I can only work with what I have. Pictures were not good, and the videos were either black, or had just a few seconds of poor quality video.
Creative collage is Midnight showing his teeth. And the moments later, the badger I call Kissy Kissy, plants her nose on cat, Midnight, who promptly gives her a smack.
Full sound effects in video...
Cuppa needed.
Have a good day...

I am the boss - look at my swing

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny start here in the dark and dangerous north, I wonder if the grass will get cut today after the drenching it got yesterday afternoon. Maybe. I am torn between the possibility of rain tomorrow and never being too hasty when it comes to grass cutting. A decision could be made mid afternoon. Art bit, more sketching out and a spiral. Have the most fabulous Friday that you can. I shall begin by making koffy.

I think Kissy Kissy was left in no doubt as to who was the boss in the garden

6.4 at 2.45 (is that FBG?)
More painkiller and a spoon of yoghurt to get them down.
Libre alarm sounded about 10 minutes later and showed 3.9. Cup of tea.
1 hour later 5.9.
I'm just confused.
You are definitely not alone. I often think that even a supercomputer would struggle to work out what is going on with our blood sugars sometimes.

Good morning everyone from a damp, dark and cool edge of Breckland. Basically, it is very, very, dreary me dearies but not for ever by still waters etc. @Krystyna23040 good news on Mr K feeling better. The idea of taking it easy is fundamentally sound but surely he would take one knowing look at the messenger and say, really, from you??? :D @Annb hug for the ongoing control issues and the impact on sleep. @dunelm thanks for another slow, tempting art reveal and don't rush the "lawning" . @gennepher some fierce fangs on Midnight and inter species marriage looks off the agenda. I may not like this trickle down weather and the money markets don't seem to like Trussenomics but fortunately neither of them are the last word - this too shall pass. Super salmon salad day here, plenty of tea, I'm above ground and able to move about by myself, there must be sport to watch so on we go. Look out for your own hidden gems of joy however you believe they were brought into existence but be ever so careful and always mindful of the needs of others.

A hug for the night, @Annb

An algorithm of HAL* proportions, I'd say for trying to balance things..:arghh:

As for fbg...

It's a toughie

I think consistency IS the real measure we all need or none of the testing makes sense.

In your case, given that for many the dawn phenomenon IS often quoted as a significant factor.

I would go with my morning FBG being which ever one was nearest AFTER a nights sleep, to arising and starting a new day .

Aka up, washed & dressed
(Tested at foot on the floor or thereabouts)

Although, I do realise very well that for some THAT normal distinction between the two can be blurred on occassions, particularly if not too well.

But I think IF possible, it does give a consistent measure day after day, regardless of how erratic the actual results may be ..imho .

I gave a winner for the line "above ground"

Seems a tad insincere quip from me, but wise words indeed .

And almost stifled a snigger at the imagined convo between Mr & Mrs k.....almost :hilarious:

Could well be...mmhh

But Not having any short people in da house, I'm not forced to watch Disney movies on endless loop... :hilarious: ...(best wishes, etc )

will bow to your superior, hard earned knowledge.

Enjoy the day.

Actually the Hippo and Dog version is the shizzle. Now look what you've done, made me miss gym sessions with my playlist. Especially with cardio I could work out the tracks from HR :D
