What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.6 this morning but 8.5 just now, think it was the 2 naughty dried prunes I had. Was the only thing I could stomach at the time.
Dem prunes, dem prunes, dem dry prunes, dem prunes, dem prunes, dem dry prunes, dem prunes, dem prunes, dem dry prunes now shake them skeleton prunes @Lainie71 :D

Don't know if it was a soiled finger for the 7 or is it dp wearing off for the lower one . Who knows
If i were to bet, my money would be on DP... somehow 9AM without fail shows higher for me and it stays that way till 12 PM and then the downward trend begins... another thing I have noticed is its slightly elevated after shower definitely on libre and mostly on finger prick too...but that comes down in about 15 minutes or so

Was definitely the dem dry prunes, just checked before dinner and in the 5s again so dem prunes are going in the bin ;)

5.9 at 6AM which is always a nice number to see in the morning after eating day.

Funny enough i actually felt very hungry after my late night walk at about 21:30ish which has not happened on a eating day before and my reading at that time had dipped down to 4.7... so I ate some green olives and a few raspberries and blueberries with greek yogurt after eating the numbers started hovering in 5s and overnight they were between the range of 5.6 to 6.5..

The feeling of proud, sad, nervous and anxious is a weird combination that i experienced yesterday in our visit to an open day for college which my daughter is interested in and it hit me hard that this is it, she will be flying out of the nest soon...

Have a great day everyone. :)

due to a handful of peanuts before bed.
Just goes to show how differently our bodies react to certain foods... I have no negative impact from peanuts... then there are lots of people here who don't get any spike from cauliflower but my BG spikes every single time I eat it... good thing I like the former and not the latter. :)
