I'm no fan, so wouldn't have watched it anyway, but you're absolutely right in my opinion.
Sure you are among the many
But it's the fans who won't watch that determines the reaction for next time.

And such a shame, coming off the back of the success of the Women's achievement during their World Cup.

Shame on FIFA for ever pursuing this route.

Good late afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen Gentlemen.

A straight 6.0 this morning, do I get to throw the diabetic dice again?

Their seems to be an lot of views expressed on this kick the ball competition, the organisation running it and the host nation.

The kick the ball competition itself or any kick the ball competition. Boring and full of media hype.

The organisation running it self serving and open to bribery.

The host nation, we have to try to understand their way of life, feudal though it may seem, they appear not to have our understanding of the way democracy works. No wonder the kick the ball competition, alcohol consumption, employment rights etc, etc.

Now these opinions are my own. I have no facts, just opinions.

@jjraak
I nicked your quote
“Enjoy the moments today bring, y'all...we don't come this way again.”

And lastly
Setting the tone for a nice day, Bella ciao on Alexa, and this list agrees ...

Loads of viewing going through my nighttime wildlife trail cams daily.
I didn't know it rained bucketfuls literally every night.

Cat, Midnight, is out in the pouring rain. He is sheltered on the swing, and often chooses to sleep out there even when it is raining heavily. I think he likes watching the nighttime wildlife!
He could be snuggled asleep in the warm and comfort and dry of my kitchen in his special fur fabric padded chair. That cat has luxury available to him!

Cat & Fox (and the rain)

Creative is autumn, a digital painting in Procreate.
Not so fiery today...

And...
apologies for another photo of Midnight....
But this was him yesterday on my arm.
Also yesterday, he objected to me Skyping my daughter in Australia. He sat on my iPad. And when I removed him from the iPad, he stormed out of the bedroom, and was sitting on the couch in the front room glaring at me. That cat thinks he owns me...

Oh, by the way, I weighed him yesterday.
I weighed myself first.
Grabbed hold of that cat, and held him tight to my chest, so I didn't drop him...
Got back on the scales...
Oh my goodness.
He weighs in at 2stones, which is 28lbs, or 12.7 kilograms....
I repeated the weigh in and got the same result.

He weighs more than a fox!
And, just googled...he weighs more than a UK badger...

That is some cat, wonder what breed is so big - beast of Dartmoor? Very subdued artwork today - dark into light.

Good morning everyone on what looks likely to be a dry day here in the dark and dangerous north - subject to change of course. Friend of mine arrived yesterday from LA so we will probably be doing shopping for crazy items like breakfast cereals and biscuits to fill one of his two giant and so-far empty suitcases. The other one will get filled with all things German when he flies over to Frankfurt on Tuesday to meet up with his family (they have an apartment there). Blimy, I need a rest just thinking about all that travel. Art bit, colour added so better get on with something else - but first, some koffy and then hunt down a full English (less the carby bits) before hitting the supermarket.

love the painting. So interesting to see the difference adding colour makes to a painting.

Midnight is very wise being inside, keeping warm and dry. The rain in your creative looks like something to stay indoors for.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who suffer a fear of Mondays. Question, what is a fear of Mondays, is it like a pride of lions or a murder of crows or rooks?

This morning was a 5.8 on that meter of despondency, but 5.8 is ok for me, me’s and myself.

Here in Tilehurst Towers the BBC’s work of science fiction and fantasy aka the weather forecast is predicting rain all day, therefore do I amend my plans or just plough on regardless, who knows, but I do know I have breakfasted, done 40 minutes plinky plonky, drunk tea and now drinking koffy.

Covid
I have no idea what the official statistics are, but I know of so many people who have covid and also who have just recovered from it, I am tempted to lock myself down again.

Stay safe all.

Footnote and hand note, I just can’t think of worse idiot box programs than Strictly come Waltzing and Foot the Ball world mug, perhaps these programs could be combined, I shall leave you all to think think of a suitable title.

Thank you @dunelm
I have been googling.
He has very large paws.
But I can find nothing to fit him...yet.
I think his mother had a dalliance on a dark and stormy night...

But yesterday when he was very annoyed with me, that he couldn't stop me using the iPad to Skype my daughter. I had moved him to another part of the bed, but he sat on my lap and iPad again, and when I went to move him again, he turned into a furious solid power ball of muscle, and launched himself off my legs, bruising them with the pure power in his paws.

He thought he had the upper hand by glaring at me from the couch, afterwards , but he quickly found he didn't. I completely blanked him, and went about my business. He realised his mistake immediately, jumped down, managed to stop me moving by sitting right in front of my feet, looked up at me, and did the slow blink repeatedly and his eyes were welling up with tears. How the heck has he worked that out ... tears for sorry?

I cannot afford for a cat with that amount of muscle power to get the upper hand. So, I am strict, firm, but very fair with him, and he responds to the type of commands and praise that a dog does.

Good morning everyone from a dry but chilly start to Monday in Little America where houses are already suited and booted for The Holidays. Indeed, some have been since about the start of the month, replete with huge blow up Santa on the front lawn. Thursday should be a no fly day for Thanksgiving, Local butchers rubbing their hands over two chances to sell turkeys at >£100 a go. Yesterday's family meal and tea with the birthday boy went well. Today is mindbendingly difficult trying to make an LC, gut microbiome friendly menu fit in with late autumn/early winter. My default setting is cold food. That is probably because I can make the macros, nutes and vits.work but minerals can be a nightmare. I now have a fortnightly detailed blood analysis and follow up consultation to be considered. Interesting figures, graphs and feedback on the minerals. At no stage has cholesterol been tested but serum glucose is always tested. Tomorrow's armful also includes a PCT test to check I'm good to resume my full regime. The venue is a secret location at the back of Addenbrookes (CUH) with a phone call and code word to gain entrance to the isolation room. All the hot food I would enjoy is quite carby/high in potassium/silenium/phosphorous and sodium in its best form. In a modified form it is something other than food IMHO. Magnesium has the opposite issue and the supplements cause spectacular failure on the Bristol Stool Chart. @dunelm enjoy the shopping with your friend. Will you be using snares, shotguns or rifles for the fullish English hunt? Finally adding colour to your art works totally transforms them but in a subtly different way each time. Thank you. @gennepher Midnight is certainly a whopper. Thank you for the creative, video and photo. To continue the impossible riddle theme do I watch the football later while JKP is having the baby 4x4 handbrake button fixed? Enjoy your day and I'll work through my first world problems with some tea, kefir, Fage and blueberries then some kimchi, mackerel in olive oil minus the forgotten avo but with blue cheese and some cheddar.
