Sadly that is so truePerhaps best to ensure the sensible and organised member of the partnership reminds you. That always works for @Krystyna23040Just saying.
PupachinoA dry bright day in the capital city
A rather decent 6.6 given the snacks & beers last night .
Well peeps, December successfully navigated for the first time in two years.
Nothing broken that I know of, so steady as we go.
Out with furry nephew, Lauren & adopted niece.
Frankie enjoying a 'pupachino' apparently.
Frothy milk for dogs..who knew there was a market for it...lol
Stay safe.
Enjoy the day.
Only 360 odd days to the next one ..

Hot chocolate, apparently.PupachinoEarly entry for most egregious nonsense of the year but so of the moment. Where is the GrumpyOldGitachino? Great photos and good start to '23.
It's frothy milk, the girls told meThis is Starbucks version. I thought chocolate was very bad for dogs? Do I conclude you are another GOG? The Food Fairy's low carb cocoa is da schizzle. Spurs very much aren't.
I've deleted the post. GOG - I wondered if you had been called a grumpy old git for having hot chocolate or cocoa. My bad. I had a hot choc whilst on the road - left a really nasty after taste when previously it had been an annual treat. It's frothy milk, the girls told me
No coffee or chocolate involved.
Girls say sometimes free, today's was 50p.
This grumpy ol hector went off piste and had a hot chocolate drink ..no sugar so wasn't too sweet,
As for GoG...mmmhh
Too many choices on Google to discern how you meant it ?
Not a fan of coffee shops & purely tea indoors
So no need of a keto version, tho' by your review it does sound nice
A very very rare treat ...less then the fingers on one hand in a year.
A season for the other north London side to savour while our lads give us the hope that kills, sadly![]()
Quite a few of the hot chocolate mixes have sweeteners instead of sugar which, to my mind, completely ruin the taste and leave an aftertaste. If I want something sweet, I just use proper sugar - I don't think using sweeteners is supposed to be particularly good for diabetics anyway.I've deleted the post. I do not like sweetners, generally they leave a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. If there is going to be anything sweet then I want a tiny bit of proper sugar like you @AnnbFBG 13.9. Rose quickly to 15.9 so I took some insulin to bring it down. Had a slice of toast after half an hour when BG was still 12.7 but it kept falling after that and it stayed around the 7 mark for the rest of the day, until I was on the phone to my brother a short time ago, when the alarm went off to say it was down to 3.8. Couldn't do anything about it at that moment but after the phone call I had a mince pie. That should fix it.

Perhaps @gennepher could lend you foxy loxy.Clear and frosty morning in North Cumbria. Looks like being a one off day since heavy rain is forecast later.
Got a difficult problem.)
This male pheasant is cleaning up all the fallen seed that usually feeds all the ground feeding passerines and particular it's stopping the Yellowhammers feeding.
It won't get the message it's not wanted.
Any solutions?
Catapult?

Enjoyable fiction sounds the best idea @Krystyna230405.7 this morning. Another relaxing day ahead.
Am enjoying the new Rebus book which I have just started reading. Must make more time in 2023 to read fiction and less time reading the daily newspaper.
Actually I shall rephrase that. I will make more time to read enjoyable fiction.
Am also enjoying going through my training videos and writing up new exercises as I go through them.
Some really interesting info on the jaw and how to help the TMJ. My jaw is a bit clicky so I have started doing the exercises. I am also hoping that it will also firm up the jaw line and make me look younger. As I wrote this a voice in my head said 'dream on'. Well - you can dream can't you.
The weather feels much warmer here now that it isn't so windy. The dog walk was much more pleasant this morning.
I'll leave a message for Foxy Loxy tonight @lindisfel @Krystyna23040Perhaps @gennepher could lend you foxy loxy.
Thank you @ianpspurs for the compliment on my painting. It could be an alternative illustration for the poem...Good morning everyone from a bright, dry start to the land of the continual New Normal. Some may see strong similarities to The Theatre of the Absurd heavily spun as crisis what crisis? Will are you not entertained be back before next New Year's Day? @gennepher hug for all that rain. Just what was that fox searching for so diligently? Thanks for the creative which seems to compliment today's poem and the art. That fox must have read the poem. @Krystyna23040 yes, do make time for the literature you enjoy. I googled TMJ and I'm sure your jaw line is exemplary. Somehow your jaw line is also linked into that poem in my mind. @Annb the little essay in the book is wonderful and links Epiphany and The Glance really well for me. @lindisfel knotty problem unless you want to eat pheasant but thanks for the nudge to learn what passerines are. You have all had enough of me and my IF time is up so I'm off to make Assam with mylk. What a giddy round of debauchery I lead. I hope you are of more sober dispositions leading to unalloyed joy (she lives 2 houses down) this very day.
