2022/23 Football Season.

Blow me down we actually won 0.1 and the Cardiff v Rotherham game was abandoned due to the weather so seeing as Cardiff were winning at the time of abandonment the results stands and we are just 4points adrift of Rotherham. Next game home to Middlesbrough on Saturday 1st April. Wether our win is too little too late remains to be seen. 8 games left.

Latest news is the Cardiff v Rotherham game will be replayed which is bad news to Cardiff but good news to us as the gap is just 3 points. Whether it will be the great escape or sinking of the ship we shall have to wait and see.

Well I have just read some good news. Deano has sold out to a North American consortium who will take the reins at the end of the season and an added bonus deano has agreed to wipe the debts out so we are not going into administration. Ok so it's too late to prevent us going down but it could go a long way to getting us back to the championship next year we live in hope. I really do want it to work and get us a stronger team. Fingers and toes crossed.

International break for us today. Hopefully though Warnock will be putting the lads through their paces this coming week ready for next Saturday's game Against Boro.
Good luck to all teams playing today. Hope they win.

1-1 at Colchester, yes we actually scored a goal in open play! We played well first half, but couldn't keep it going second half, and succumbed to a penalty. Lots of yellow cards.
bounce back point after the change of gaffer.

An update on the club's ownership

We can today confirm that American businessman, investor, and Sacramento Republic Football Club CEO and Owner Kevin M. Nagle is the prospective new owner of Huddersfield Town, subject to legislative and governance procedures.

Mr. Nagle commented:

“I am beyond pleased to announce I have entered into agreement with Dean Hoyle to purchase a full stake in Huddersfield Town. As the approval process is now under way, there will be no further comment until finalization, as we wish to 100% respect that process.

“I would however like to thank Dean for all his help and support along the way, and I cannot wait to meet and speak to the wonderful Town fans.”

Once again, the football club would like to thank every supporter for their patience and understanding.

Not really sure how he claims were are one of the most successful clubs of all time. Not really my choice of words. Still it's flattering that he has bought our club when he could have bought a bigger club. With any luck he will help us out next season. We all know it's too late to do owt this season.

At home to Yorkie club harrysgate tonight at Prenton Park.
Friday night is Rovers night.
hope for a win but feel it will be a draw.

Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend.

Reading have been deducted six points by the English Football League for breaching the terms of an agreed business plan for a previous profit and sustainability rule breach.

It marks the first decision handed down by the independent club financial reporting unit (CFRU).

The deduction leaves Reading 20th in the Championship, with 40 points, one above the relegation zone.

Now that makes things more interesting. Just 1 point above us. And as it happens we play them for our last game of the season. I'd like to hope though that we have got safe by then. Watch this space.
