Must admit that the penalties prescribed in Deut 22 are a bit harsh for modern liking, but the proscriptions on behaviour make sense even today for Christian, Jew or any other faith or none. It's clear to see in the present immigration crisis why people are not happy with the treatment of asylum seekers.
It is not humane.
Regarding scripture and law that was for the Jew. Christians are not governed by law...well perhaps just a few!
I think she / her government was the first of modern times to openly embrace anyone with money, regardless of how they attained it ...and once that cloak of respectability was slipped on, everything else makes sense .Thatcher only embodied what was going wrong -
Laters greater. The later the meet up for breakfast, the happier the day. I think that we are going to Whitby this afternoon but like all plans, as soon as you cross the start line, things become a changeable feast and stomping around anywhere with up bits and down bits requires the assistance of some serious pain relief - tramadol is the the new crampon. Enough of this nonsense
She does seem the epitome of how we measure success these days in the higher (That Coffey lady has excelled herself she has come the conclusion the pollution in the creek of her east Suffolk seat is due to wild birds, not sewage or farming!
Great call.trying to get some energy together to make a start on dishes I left last night after making and cooking some sausages - includes the gadget for filling skins which was an abject failure because it requires some strength in the arms to push the mixture through and it requires the skins not to break under the pressure, so the sausages are all sizes and shaped by hand. I've decided to call them "rustic sausages".
That heavy superstructure looks ready to collapse without the support of the lower parts of the ruin. Impressive balancing act.Good morning everyone on another will it /won’t it start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Rain stopped play yesterday although I did manage to delay breakfast until after 11am. Farmers Market today so just nipped down and got a couple of things including Kimchi and some pickled wild garlic as well as a couple of tasty scotch eggs. It’s very traditional fayre here in Yorkshire as are the samosas and onion bhajis that some folk are buying. Popped into the supermarket for milk so that’s the essentials shelf in the fridge stocked up. Out late afternoon with one of Mrs Miggins’ cousins and his wife -be good to catch up. Art bit - coming along. Have a smashing day if you can, I now need yet another koffy.

Enjoy your coffee, and don't forget to make an offering to Hephaestus, the God of buildings (and other things), then your building will hold up splendidly...Good morning everyone on another will it /won’t it start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Maybe he shored it up with some metalwork/scaffolding.Oh don't worry there.
Just as the God Atlas holds up the world, you have Hephaestus, the God of buildings...he will see this structure right...
Thanks @ianpspursGood afternoon everyone from a sullen skied L.A. That soap opera about the dysfunctional billionaire family that was on last week seems to have been cancelled today, oh well. By the inkling of my Swipey something evil this way comes - 5.9 means either me, Swipey or both are crook in a new way. @gennepher thanks for the videos and photo. The first date for own grown strawberries in the old country was June 12th - looks like yours may beat that. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art. That structure currently looks to be secured by the same principle as the infamous oven ready deal. The final piece May be be strong and stable.Good news on escaping that market with some cash left and traditional northern comestibles @Krystyna23040 I'd contact the temp agency and ask for that super diary secretary asap but good news on no jab afters. Hephastos you say? - have a chune. Perfect last minute Eurovision entry for a super group called the Home Secretaries. Y'all have a good day now, ya hear?
Sorry if that brought back unhappy memories. My Swipey read 4.9 after a coffee with cream and a Fattbar cookie which is much more normal. I may need to have something earlier than 12.15 which I do usually but I don't like most LC food, especially early on, so just avoid it for as long as possible. How are you getting on with Cronometer? Thanks @ianpspurs
Well, that singer brings back memories.
I saw him perform live about 1968. Never forgot that burning fire on his head. Very wild.
I had a boyfriend at the time I was trying to get away from who was a little weird...
Looks like, from YouTube, that Arthur Brown was still performing a few years ago...blooming agile...
