Weekly weigh in - Fridays

2023/03/31 - 23 Stone on the head, it was teetering 1 lb below at 22.13 but I'm going with the higher reading.

+1lb, well I'm not going to factor imagined losses into that based on the averages I was getting because they were all over the place anyway but I'd hazard a guess I'd have lost a lb or two this week if I'd not had a mid week blow out of garbage foods.

Still, I hold my hands up to it, mea culpa, it's a fair cop, not as if a "relapse" has to be a reason to throw in the towel and go fully mental, though it can really feel like that sometimes, I had a controlled window of madness on Wednesday with a sausage roll, some ready salted crisps and a penguin bar, okay two penguin bars, no shame. Totally over it now.


Going to edit this in but not count it as such, but record it anyway

Managed a short nap this afternoon after being out in the lovely sunny weather, had a quick bath and then, unless I was filthy, took my weight again. 22:12lb, which would have been about right if I was carrying on without the midweek blip. I reckon I was holding on to a lot of water since, as have been like a fountain today. Even with the fluctuations over the day, will keep this in mind for next week.

No midweek blip this week

Recording this a lot later than I took it so might be slightly out, will check again sat morning, but posting for consistency.

22 stone 6lbs

down -9lbs, which seems like loads, maybe too much in one week, maybe it’s the combination of both weeks but lost any retained water with last weeks hiccup.

Uggh, didn't post last week was too depressing
73.8kg so persisting in the 73kg bracket but creeping up.

Seem stuck at the moment to be honest.

Up another 2lb to 22.10lb.

Could be water as haven't been going nuts but I've let the low carb slip a bit in the last week for a few reasons.

Seeing the numbers go 4lb in the other direction is making me reflect on what I'm doing.

Confident I'm back on track with the food now, it's a long game anyway.
 
Don't think I shall go near the scales until the swelling goes down. Leg must weight a ton!
 
12st 12 now (BMI 26.6) which is the lightest I've been for maybe 30 years.

The downside is that I've no clothes that fit so had to go shopping this morning. It was nice buying jeans with a 32 waist though (especially as 10 years ago, at my peak weight, I was buying 44's!).
 
Leg and foot down first thing so took a risk weighing 214.8 Pleased
Swelling after but better. Getting there.
 
May I join in with the weight loss accountability? I have quite a way to go so I will be here a while. I have already started on my own and I shall start recording my losses every Friday from now on.

OK, I'm back (was away for 2 weeks so no access to scales).
Went to see friends and family in Australia for the first time since covid. Gathered a deep respect for salt water crocodiles which will basically eat anything and can travel up to 30km/hr over short distances.

74.2kg, could be worse but definitely need to start watching the cheese (sigh).
