Not as claustrophobic as the last one!Good morning everyone on what might just be a rain free double dip bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. A car needs collecting this morning so we are off to the City of Ripon to pick it up - about 50 miles. It’s a replacement Smart ForTwo run around for the one we disposed of last week. This will be number 5 I think (previously one ForFour and three ForTwo’s). Great little run arounds although we did tour Europe in a cabriolet version several years ago. What fun. This one is also a soft top and has the word Brabus written on the front so almost a motorbike - but not. You can drift in them mind if you select manual instead of automatic. Think the opening sequence to the TV series The Banana Splits. Mrs Miggins is also preparing her 2L AWD gas guzzling tank for change. It’s all going on, the house staff under stairs are bewildered. Art bit - another starter for 10 - another part of the castle we visited in Wales. Have an excellent day if you can. I need to take some fancy blue and yellow pain relief this morning but first I must savour my koffy.

I am so sorry that the medical procedure didn't go well. Are they going to monitor you and try to rectify what they caused.Fbg 6.7

I'm late because I had a medical procedure this morning. It did not go to plan, and has left me with pain and a few other problems. I could have done without this, as my daughter from Australia is coming in a few days.
I have been in bed since I got back home. My friend I contacted was shocked, says it is negligence on the part of the NHS. Wants me to take this further. I have no energy for this. I don't think I am telling daughter exactly what happened, she does know I was going for it. I just hope I am good enough to do what we planned to do together, but I will be toning some stuff down...
Not a happy bunny.
My friend wants me to go to PALS on this, and that is a strong possibility, but not until my daughter from Australia has been and gone, I need all my energy for her.
Going back to sleep.
Catch you tomorrow...

Thanks @SlimLizzySorry to read that you are in pain after the procedure. Hoping that you will recover enough to be able to enjoy your daughters visit.
Welcome, sorry can’t help you about diabetic snacks.95 mg/dL. I've finally found graham crackers diabetes because I can't imagine my life without crackers. Such a person I am. Do you guys have favorite diabetes snacks? Just curious.
So sorry to hear that the medical procedure went wrong. Bad enough to have to have it without medics messing it up! Hope you recover soon from the pain and that the after effects won't be too bad. I'm sure your daughter's visit will give you a lift but hope you feel able to enjoy it.Fbg 6.7

Thank you very much @AnnbSo sorry to hear that the medical procedure went wrong. Bad enough to have to have it without medics messing it up! Brilliant fern kaleidoscope. I love ferns.
I hate Calendars getting crowded @AnnbFBG 10.5. That was at 2.30 am. I knew I would be up early because I was so shattered last night that I went to bed just after 11. Took some pain killers and had a cup of tea and sat in gthe big chair deliberately to go to sleep again. It worked. BG when I woke up at about 6.30 was 11.4.
Today has to be an easy day to recover from yesterday's exertions. When I got to see the nurse yesterday she told me she had instructions to get some blood from me as well. Wished her best luck. She tried ... and failed. So she just bandaged my legs and said she'd organise another appointment for a blood test. Next week's calendar is getting pretty crowded.
My absolute favourite snack is Montazumas 100% chocolate. I think it is an acquired taste as lots of people hate it. My other favourite snack is extra mature cheddar. I also really like peanut butter or almond butter but rarely allow them in the house because I just can't stop eating them.95 mg/dL. I've finally found graham crackers diabetes because I can't imagine my life without crackers. Such a person I am. Do you guys have favorite diabetes snacks? Just curious.
Thank you @ianpspursMorning all from a wet L.A. possibly the first measurable rain of June. No overnight thunder but a good decision to run the lawnmower over the dustbowl (no mice but some men called Jode mooching about) yesterday.. @LeslyFleming as a snack I now take a spoon - so far not tbls but moving through the gears - to a kg tub of peanut butter. and or eat a Fattbar cookie or sometimes top said cookie with PB. Bulk powders PB currently. @dunelm busy day and so many changes/upgrades/downsizes no wonder Mrs Bridges/Carson and co are crosswaffled. Castle is looking Dope@Annb easy like a Sunday morning today - no dancing on the ceiling. Let's hope next week is useful as well as busy. @gennepher I hope that kaleidoscope is a vehicle for tranquillity for you as well as a thing of beauty for me - thank you. @Krystyna23040 is that Aldi anywhere near Aldiss Park home of the Magpies? Hoping for three days of heavy rain over the NW8 area after Red for Ruth Day - t-shirt on.

Y'all have whatever kind of day affords itself but do everything with love and care - including for yourself.
Oh I do wish that I could be so restrained and just take one spoon of peanut butter. Unfortunately one spoon leads to another and another ad infinitum.as a snack I now take a spoon - so far not tbls but moving through the gears - to a kg tub of peanut butter
