What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning all from a very cold Brecks..Fbg of 5.1 here today but my sense of entitlement means I'm looking all over for my gruntle. If you celebrate it, happy St Andrews day. I'm off to the City of my birth today but too cold for punting. JKP is having her ears syringed (channels Hagrid, - I shouldn't have said that, should I?) since Drs no longer do it. I'm wreath laying on the grave of my maternal grandparents and uncle and meeting another uncle - probably shouldn't call an 80 yo Bless 'Im but these things stick @dunelm thanks for sharing the stunning art and I hope you find the correct head wear. @lindisfel best wishes for solving your issue - do you find yourself saying covfefe much? Do stay away from Georgia, As for head covering, today must be ideal for one of the rare outings of my beaver fur Ushanka - if not now we are led by the smallest Russian doll, when? @SlimLizzy good news on feeling a little better and the French health service. RIP Henry Kissinger. Oxtail stew (twice cooked, fat skimmed for dripping - £22 for what was a cheap dish :arghh:) and probably Starbucks and/or Pret/Gail's bakery/Pat Val today, cheese Advent calendar and salmon tomorrow (no, not together) - living the dream. 6.5 pre counselling this afternoon.
-5 at 6.30 from my thermometer, not likely to get above freezing at all, all day. But a beautiful clear sky last night and a clear moon in the West to North West this morning. Stars were quite clear, but too cold to stay in the garden.
Believe, according to the panic in the media, that the South have had a bit of a light frost and dusting of winter weather. And the world is doomed!
Bit late with the forecast of doom and gloom, the cold weather has no bearing that the world is going to warm up.
And as usual, we are not prepared for this type of scenario. Isn't that why, handoncock is defending himself?
Not very well, as it happens!
Gritters have been zooming around my road, as it is an A road. Speeding! One was told off as the kids were coming out of school, as it clearly painted on the road and on signs.

Big coat, warm fell walking boots, jumper and thermals, to go hospital, gonna be sweating in the room but needs must.

Gotta go, Mrs L is demanding her cuppa.

DIL's surgery today. Hoping it all goes well.

My new wheelchair is in transit somewhere. The seller didn't seem to want anything extra for the more expensive transport to here. Very kind. Had to get in for my rebandaging using my Zimmer. Very sore, but I managed. Probably pay for it over the next few days.
