What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

6.7 on this freaky Friday.
I'm knackered!
Two reasons the constant rain, it will not stop, was hammering (ok not that bad, but it felt like it) on our window for the majority of last night.
And even tho Mrs L has had a quiet day, #8 has been around with his dad, and it was a joy, honest!
So much energy, Mickey mouse, Ra Ra, Night garden to try and distract him, but he wanted the ball in the very wet garden, ran over the grass, playing catch and footie in the front room. Such fun!

Apparently, the Russian spy has been involved in government. Who would have thought?
Apparently, a Tory believes that you can grow coal!!!!
Apparently, Russian oligarchs paid for anti brexit adverts during the referendum. Who would have thought?

Gotta go, myself and Mrs L have agreed to attack the roast gammon I cooked last night.

My best wishes to you all as always, especially @dogslife.
Thank you@Lamont D for your wishes

So sorry at your tragic news. It's very reminiscent of how my mother's life ended in 1985. It's a shattering experience and I do so sympathise with you. My deepest and heartfelt condolences. Sharing your feelings here is a very useful way of working through all that has happened.
Thank you@Annb.

I made Mrs L a cup of tea before.
I used her cup which still had cold tea in.
I brought the tea to her.
Not more than ten seconds later. She brought it back into the kitchen, where I was busy doing my duties.

And poured the new cuppa down the sink.
Before I intervened, the kettle was on and she went back into the front room (lounge) (posh part!!!!)
So I had to make the second cuppa.
I asked her what was up with the first?
It was freezing!
I didn't argue, I just laughed.
Must do homework!
Ha!

Well the surprise at the doctors was the appointment was for the asthma clinic but as I am under the care of respiratory consultant at hospital for IPF the appointment was largely redundant so quick blood pressure check weighed and blood oxygen checked and off home.

Wildlife nighttime videos
Badger very determined to get those cloths off the swing
Most of the cushions and covers are tied securely to the swing, but I have a couple either end of the swing just tucked in, hopefully to take some of the badger's attention away from pulling the tied in cushions and stuff too much. I think it partially works!!!

1min 15secs

Creative...pen and waterbrush on postcard...
And some white pen...

Time for a nap and a cuppa...

Have your best day...

Smashing piece, I like these - the pathway to the secret garden - or - Brock Passage.

Good morning everyone from a lovely quiet start to Chinese New Year here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.9 this am to the tune of Oh Well by Fleetwood Services. Year of the Dragon - will Wales win a cup? In other news the big Pink day rip off is fast approaching but I will serve up ashes - probably from the remains of a King Alfred low carb high carbon pancake recipe the day before. It’s going to be a busy week ahead! Today though is Veteran Breakfast Club followed by a wander round the Farmers Market saying, “how much?” - There is kimchi to buy as well as two sourdough boules with beetroot. Art bit - after Mondrian on a small postcard. Hope your day is a good one. I have some duck to marinade for tonigh but first I must finish my koffy. Gong Xi Fa Cai!

6.2 this morning.

Mr K has taken Poppy for a walk as I managed to strain my foot when I tripped on Thursday. It is the foot that was damaged in the RTA 19 years ago which never went back to 100% OK.

It is only a minor strain but I am limiting steps to about 8K for a few days - which I will easily do today as my venue in Norwich is huge.

Take care of that foot, even to the extent of conducting part of each class from a chair @Krystyna23040
