I agree @Annb the three wheeler is not as stable as a 4 wheeler.I tried one like that when I first had a rollator, but found it quite unstable - maybe the way I lean but I exchanged it for a 4 wheel model which is stable but not as manoevrable. Not really useful in the house but fine outside. It has a seat on it, which is helpful at times. Inside the house I find the walking frame much more useful.
I agree, the four wheeler won't go, where the three wheeler will, around the narrow aisles of the shops and through our house.I agree @Annb the three wheeler is not as stable as a 4 wheeler.
I have a 4 wheeler, but it is big and cumbersome, and now lives in the garage.
The three wheeler goes in some local shops with very narrow aisles.
The 4 wheeler does not. As I am on my own doing my own shopping, this renders the 4 wheeler useless for my purposes. I need the wheeler at all times when I am out doing my fridge shopping.
So, it is no contest for me.
I certainly wouldn't pass a sobriety test with the 3 wheeler. In fact shoppers who see me approach eye me suspiciously and get out of the way before I get anywhere near....
But that pointy angle at the front of the 3 wheeler works effectively with crowds of people who have no intention of letting me through...
In this close and area one most certainly is. one Nation under God. Just in case anyone forgets look at the hardware but keep your noses out of the nukes underground. Please!

Have you continued to follow Malcolm Guite has you once did or has he passed of the scene retirement? On the subject of that man I found this rather good on so many levels - probably because it has a subtle but scathing put down of TNENFC. She's a clever lady but one expects that of those from a certain station in life. In great contrast to the parvenues mouthing off on College Green trying to topple May and wanting that mendacious shyster they landed us with.

Hi Derek and good to see you here. I still follow his videos and dip in and out of his blog. I read his lent anthology and God willing will once again enjoy and find new insights from his Advent anthology. I'll add another person I follow here. I use his site as a starting point for pericopes I find puzzling. I hope you and Marjorie are keeping as well as possible. Peace be with you.Have you continued to follow Malcolm Guite has you once did or has he passed of the scene retirement?

Turtle - not a tortoise, the great A’Tuin of course. If the earth is flat we would not enjoy the sunrise - would we? My earth is only 71, and a bit, before that it was all whatever the best selling book said - but not morris dancing.in that case, the flat earth society, the religion that believes that the Earth is only 4000 years old, the naysayers and the Daily fail, express and torygraph would have you believe that red is green and the universe is carried by a tortoise.
Of course time is relative, the perception of time passing slow, watched kettle boil, passing fast, the years fly by, can't believe it's August already, Its july! But you get it.
I can remember something from Neil Armstrong, after the moon landing being younger(?) than he should be!!!
Something like that.
And I do like a time travelling story. But not Dr. Who!!!
Sad, isn’t it? - how dare you - I’m offended - ooh! Get you!Nigel's values appear to consist entirely of pay N Farage £s - other views are available.

Yes it would, because everything revolves around the earth!Turtle - not a tortoise, the great A’Tuin of course. If the earth is flat we would not enjoy the sunrise - would we? My earth is only 71, and a bit, before that it was all whatever the best selling book said - but not morris dancing.
I suppose it depends on conditions in Scandinavia @dunelm, but we don't usually encounter redwings here until September at the earliest. October and November is more normal. They often arrive in mixed flocks along with fieldfares.Good morning everyone on an overcast but rain free start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Thought that I spied a couple of Redwings yesterday cavorting in the garden. Early evening. They were small, thrush like and there were splashes of rusty red as they darted about on the shrubs, bouncing about on the ground - maybe, maybe not. Took to my bed at 9 pm last night, quite tired. Slept until just after 6. My dad has a lesion on one of his ears. It has to be removed but he has taken all week to weigh that up. At 95 he thinks that the days are shortening and it’s not worth the bother. But it’s painful so he has decided to go ahead. Mum will go to the hospital with dad on 23rd and stay with him. He is not a fan of hospitals and dentists; mum doesn’t mind and is a fine example of bionic inserts and lumps of titanium. Anyhow. Art bit - tree. Hope your day goes well. Hugs for the England squad and anyone who dropped from the top of a euphoric cliff into the depths of disappointment. It would have been a great boost. Off to Whitby this morning to see the Galeón Andalucía but first, some koffee before I wake up Mrs Miggins.
Thank you @LivingLightly - I did think it early in the year for Redwings as @lindisfel indicated- small thrush looking with rusty red flashes as they flitted about - just the two of them.I suppose it depends on conditions in Scandinavia @dunelm, but we don't usually encounter redwings here until September at the earliest. October and November is more normal. They often arrive in mixed flocks along with fieldfares.
Best wishes to your father. I hope his operation goes ahead as planned.
Another lovely tree Thanks for sharing
Tuesday's FBG. 4.6 on waking at 6.00 am.
Well done to Em for offering to wash your car for nothing. Odd jobs in exchange for increasing her bank balance sounds like a great idea. Sad that bob a job doesn’t seem to exist any more.BG at 04.30 was 6.6. Up to 8.2 by 05.00. It's the first cup of tea that does it.
Em is coming up to clean the car today. Neil hosed it down because the starlings had made a mess of it but it needs a good wash and she has never used a power hose and needs to learn how to control it. I'll pay her for doing it, although she said she would do it without for nothing. Scouts don't seem to do jobs to raise money any more but she has joined the scouts so maybe she could suggest it to them. It would obviously be a bit more than a bob for a job these days. This time, she will be raising funds for her own bank account. I have her birthday present all ready to go so must remember to hide it away before she comes. Hopefully not to forget where I've put it when her birthday comes around.
