What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Amazing Boris/Freida, thank you so much. Reminds me of those tie-dye's people used to wear back in the day. Laboscope app didn't down load on this Chromebook earlier for me to play with - then I remembered I don't do creatives so I didn't try again.
A pity @ianpspurs
Laboscope used to work on Android, then it stopped. It's not you.

Now now, don't be negative...you can do creatives....

Do you have any Apple device? Even an iPhone, or an old iPhone. Laboscope downloads easily on my old Apple devices.

Now, I have just found a kaleidoscope app which I have downloaded to my Android phone. I do not know how good it is yet because I have only been using it a few minutes...but I will look for another tomorrow as the file size is too big, and. I am clueless how to reduce it on the Android...
I am doing this anyway, as I would like a simple kaleidoscope app for my Android phone....

But now I have to see to recycle and trash....

Sure that's not Spice Karen in your part of the world - sorry, post code shaming is bad.
Apparently the car insurance companies got the post office to change our postcode!
Or was it the city main HQ couldn't cope with the blatant misuse of southern based companies junk mail?
Or that the change to road transportation instead of rail, made it difficult to get the juggernaut into the main sorting office in the city.
Or was the posh wannabes that couldn't or wouldn't be ever happy with the city postcode?
Or was it the reason that we were not aligned with the health provision districts?
Or was it for all the reasons above?

And we wouldn't suffer fools of tools like him....And

That is what is fake!

a conversation happened in our bedroom, where Mrs L informed me that we will have to go through her clothes, the reason was, Mrs L couldn't understand where they had all come from. Claiming that her wardrobe was not bought by Mrs L. She knew about the pjs, but the million items that are crammed in there, no idea at all.
so it was, yes dear. We can take them to the shop etc.
not until I sort them, Mrs L replied.
yes dear!
Mrs L's wardrobe sounds a lot like mine. I have two and a half double wardrobes absolutely crammed with clothes. Plus two storage boxes under our bed.

The problem is that clothes last such a long time. It's not surprising that Mrs L can't remember buying them.

Looks like she's been lobbying doctors. Good girl for limiting the EVO buying to just the one Mrs Wembley. I expect Mr K had a word :playful: Here's my B12 for today.

Take it easy on your vacation. O/T I find the word staycation unduly vexatious.. I've just eaten one of these with my afternoon tea - during the Test Match tea break. Nice tribute to Graham Thorpe. I don't know exactly what plant based butter is used - definitely not this one due to cost - but the doughnut was divine daahling, divine. JKP can and does make them but she's busy enough.
Very interesting and balanced article.
Was really pleased to see that I do eat quite a lot of food that contains B12 .
Your doughnuts looked wonderful. Where did you get then from?
How did you know that Mr K suggested that I only buy one bottle of EVO?

I am being really good and am relaxing and enjoying the break from classes. Today my sister came over and we did 3 hours admin.

Then I walked back with her to the outskirts of our little market town where she lives. Poppy really enjoyed the walk.

I don't like the word staycation either.

How did you know that Mr K suggested that I only buy one bottle of EVO? A not very wild guess :playful:

The doughnuts come from here. I buy rolls, bread, bagels, blueberry muffins, scones and had 2 "Christmas puddings" from them. I wasn't a fan of the hot cross buns, needed to use the kitchen blow torch to set the cross. The lemon drizzle cake is wonderful imho but the croissant wasn't - worth a try though. We portion the cake, traybakes and Christmas puds before freezing. Can't get the pastry to turn out like that (bought for sausage rolls at Christmas) but used as a trial - slightly soggy bottom inside and hard crust outside - but makes a filling meat or apple pie easily. I usually do one order big enough for free post every so often not small orders. I'm allowed one drawer in a freezer for keto goodies - but it overflowed into the other freezer - bit like your clothes :playful: - this month with their 2 free loaves offer

Are you a collector?
How do you choose?
How can you remember where your favourites are?
Do you often use the phrase, 'I have nothing to wear!'

Impulse or budgeted? Ha!

Thank you for the link - they do look amazingly delicious.

I am afraid I can't resist a bargain. I have my favourite brands and have bought most of my stuff in the sales over the years and yes, I do forget where my favourites are.

Yesterday I wore a Rohan top that I bought in 2004 and it looked as good as new.

Thinking staycations or home holidays are here for quite awhile.

Off the top of my head, surprising fact that more than three quarters of Americans have never left their country?
but more than half have flown.

Ish!!!!!!
We have visited the USA, Canada, Australia, all over Europe, Ireland, Scotland and all over the rest UK but in the last few years we absolutely love holidaying in Norfolk or Suffolk

No airports, no long journeys and wonderful countryside - it is so relaxing and stress free.

BG 7.5 at 03.30 today. Not great, but considering that it was 15 when I went to bed, I can't really complain. Rising now, on the strength of 2 cups of tea.

Today I have to have a US scan of my bladder for some reason. Don't know who ordered it or why. Maybe something to do with that last blood test, but there's no information available, apparently. Not even an indication of who referred me for the scan. It's going to be a busy few days - tomorrow is leg rewrapping day and an appointment later in the day with the opthalmologist. I thought they'd forgotten me, but out of the blue came an appointment. Next week, it's another eye appointment at the hospital and my diabetic eye screening on another day and a podiatry appointment. Busy, busy.
Yes @Annb, at times life can seem like a perpetual round of medical screening and check-ups.
Still, we're better safe than sorry.

Wednesday, 4.6 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.

5.7 this morning.

Managed to dodge the showers on our walk in the park with Poppy. My sister will be here shortly so we will spend the morning doing admin. Actually, I think that I have done most of my admin so will probably will be able to do much more interesting course work.

Morning all from a too autumnal for me L.A. on GCSE results day 2024. Not quite this and anyhow that will be even worse but the song just lodged itself in my very odd brain. How on earth did we allow ourselves to get here, especially the last part? @alf_Josiah good to see you here, I hope the medical issues are going well or as well as possible. @gennepher once again thank you for the kaleidoscope yesterday. If Laboscope or anything else needs Apple that's a major red line for me, just won't happen. I'm happy with Android and Microsoft. I'm also much more comfortable using my time exploring ideas such as the attached than anything creative or reading fiction. Yesterday I had 28 gms carb and did over 5k steps, my sleep score was good and sats level 98%. No idea if that is good or awful but it doesn't make me feel remotely pleased. Y'all have a great day but watch out for Lillian. Go Coach Walz :woot:

I fully agree @ianpspurs
I have a major beef with Apple, but I need it to act as my remote control for my cochlear processor. I have no choice....

Nighttime wildlife video

Badgers rooting among my mats...for grubs and discarded birdfood...

Creative, messing about on a kaleidoscope app in my Android for a change. But it wouldn't save, so some messing about here...The initial photo was of some bottles...

Tired here...time for afternoon nap...

Have a good day...
